Externalities and Government

Every economic activity has its advantages and disadvantages. The UN objective to remove poverty and consequent malnutrition from the mother earth is seems achievable due to great contribution by pesticide in food production cycle. The use of pesticides have increased the production of food grain many fold among the developing and developed countries. Recent researches have shown that use of pesticide has increased the level of pollution as well at top soil and has made under ground water unusable at some places. Now new researches have shown that its badly damaging the population of honey bees who are responsible for the pollination (1/3 of crop).

Maintaing lower level of unemployment is the most important objectives of the government in any democratic country. Recession brings in heavy pressure on unemployment target of the government and increases her social security contribution. Unemployed people receives unemployment benefit during the job search period from the Center and State government.
