Maintaing lower level of unemployment is the most important objectives of the government in any democratic country. Recession brings in heavy pressure on unemployment target of the government and increases her social security contribution. Unemployed people receives unemployment benefit during the job search period from the Center and State government. In Developed countries government depends on the Claimant count methods which count the unemployed people on the basis of registrations in the unemployment offices for distributing unemployment benefit. This have its own advantages and disadvantages.
