In my opinion GDP represents only one aspect or tool for development whereas for a holisitic development of society, development with respect to health, social sectors along with human resource development with special emphasis on woman's empowerment and female emancipation along with development of under priviliged socially deprived population should be undertaken at warfront as done by countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
