Population is a group of same species living in one same geographical area. Population of human has breached 7 billion people spread across nations. The growth of population can be positive or negative. Positive population growth is achieved when birth rate (including migration) is higher than the death rate (including immigration) and negative population growth is when death rate (including immigration) is higher than the birth rate (including migration). Population had grown rapidly in these recent years and stated to be the fastest population growth ever recorded. These population growth rapidly increases because our living standard get better every day and in addition that war had ended. Despite that population are growing rapidly, some part of the world, the population is declining such as in France which they achieve negative population growth. Mainly in MEDC, this is due to their higher living standard and raising a child is very expensive in those countries which makes people choose to have less children (2 max) or no children. While on the other hand, in LEDC country, population growth is increasing rapidly as people there sees children as investment. On average, one family can have up to 8 children or even more as they mainly work on Agricultural sector instead of Secondary or Tertiary Sector.
ReplyDeletePopulation growth is not always desirable in a country. Why? because population growth will make resources more scarce as we are living in world with a limited resources. More population means that there are more people will increase the consumptions. Eventually people will fight for their life to get clean water and foods as they are scarce and expensive. Supplies are unable to cope up with the demand needed and this add up more problem for both the governments and firms as the government will need extra work to control the inflation rate and both the firms and governments need to boost the supply in the market to fulfill their demand. Increase in population indicate that we demand for more lands, and our land is also limited and we're currently running out of space for households. We need to destroy forests to build household land use and this will increase the damage of global warming and may lead to natural catastrophic such as flooding or landslide if built on a poor foundation. As more and more agricultural land are being converted to households, the least likely they are able to supply foods which will lead to hunger and increase the death of people due to hunger.
Unemployment rate will increase because firms are unable to provide sufficient workforce for the worker and more and more people will be living under the poverty line. Crime will therefore increase because they need foods, clean water, shelter and they will do it by force to survive, such as stealing, murdering and other criminal acts. The security of the place will fall and turn it to a dangerous place to live. It worsen the living condition and lower the living standard. People life expectancy will be lower as they are not living in a proper environment and this causes pandemic of diseases which will kill millions of people. They are unable to live peacefully and must always be aware of their surrounding as people are also surviving to live.
Population growth only benefits the rich, because the rich are going to be richer and richer while the poor are getting poorer. Price increases will benefits the rich as they are the one who supplies it, the poor then are forced to buy with a much higher price because it is essential for living. But in the end this trouble everyone as everyone is competing to survive.
Population growth is not desirable as it does not benefits us, but creating more and more problem. This will create war as they need to fight for resources, famine, hunger, poverty, inflation, economic recession, unemployment, drops living standard, deaths, environmental damages such as global warming. Population is the amount of all organisms in this world, this includes humans as well. In countries over population or too many people are regarded as undesirable or unwanted condition in the country because overpopulation can cause alot of disadvantages around the world. In some areas around the world there is an area where population is at it’s highest point like in China the government even put rules that every family will be charged if they have more than 1 baby. While in New Zealand there are only 4 million people that live in both north and south island, these low population level can be an advantage for there government. In some country especially eastern and even commonwealth countries population is declining. But as for some countries the population is not declining but its rising and leading to overpopulation limit like in Indonesia. Population rise israpid in some LEDC country because the living standard is low people think that their kids can be an advantage to help the do their chores or to find resources or goods or to work for them when they’re old.while in MEDC the living standard is high people have small amount of children because people have everything that they need.
ReplyDeleteThere are some disadvantages when too many people exist in a country like poverty will rise rapidly because overpopulation government can no longer handle the situation to control the condition around the country. Poverty rise also because there is no workplace available almost every workjob close employment because they have enough worker to produce outputs which will rise unemployment so high, causing living standards to fall. Environment around the world will be hardly damaged because more resources is needed the trees for furnitures will be cutted down. The fresh air will no longer available to breath because transportation will be used more due to high population, Co2 destroy atmospheres and will just cause global warming process to go faster and faster, this environmental damage can create unwanted deseases such as cancer and other dangerous diseases. As these disadvantages rose the population dynamically still rising and keep on damaging everything on earth.
Population growth can be an advantage to wealthy people, or people who owns a brand and big products because more people means more resources and goods are needed thats why more output are purchased by people which makes company become succesful and the owner become wealthy and benefits them. In indonesia smokers are many that’s why the smoke company is succesful, the government can’t stop the production of the cigarettes because the company is the largest tax payer in Indonesia. For the government the owner of the cigarettes company is untouchable or invulnerable to be eliminated. The example of the companies are djarum company.
The government around the globe should think of something tactical to control population because there is no more room in this world scarcity of resources already happen traffic, Co2 and environment pollution is everywhere. Poverty areas are spread around the globe, these problems can be stopped if governments around the world control these population. How? Limiting birth rate, birth Charges to have more family members and etc.
Population changes overtime, and the process is what we call population growth. There are four factors that determine population growth; and they are births, deaths, immigrants and emmigrants. In most developing countries, overpopulation is one of the problems found, while, in contrast, in many developed countries, population is declining due to various reasons. For years it has been wrongly argued that increase in population is always a burden to any economy. In fact, positive population growth has many benefits to offer.
ReplyDeleteAs we know, a rise in population can create temporary shortages in resources and sources of energy as a bigger number of people is to share and use up a limited amount of those resources. However, this condition can pull innovators to do some actions, including extracting the resources and finding ways to distribute goods in more environmental-friendly ways. These people will also put more contribution to the economy’s human development. As a result of this, prices of goods will fall rather than rise, therefore we can all benefit from population growth.
All bodies or organizations in an economy, especially the government, may share one same dream, which is to increase sustainable development, with giving less harm to the environment, but at the same time, not reducing the amount of goods and services produced for the society. This is why we should not try to stop or cut the growth of population, because the world wants to be made better by people for people, and if we are trying to reduce the world population, who will then be able to enjoy our deeds (in growing sustainable development and friendly environment)? The right thing to do instead of limiting the number of people allowed to be born is to improve the living standards of people by finding the most appropriate way in terms of humanity.
A growing population is also good for an economy because there is more people spending money. Demand will therefore increase and productions may get more profits out of it. This’ll help the economy to grow. Also, a bigger population means more people available to work. It just needs the government and business organizations in an economy to have the ability to hire these people to work for them, as certainly, a large workforce should not be abandoned as if it is used, it may create a flowing growth for an economy. Moreover, increase in world population has made specialization and division of labor possible in trade activities. Therefore, more trades can happen and the varieties in consumer goods will expand. This is really a good advantage that we can all benefit from.
Finally, as for the Earth, when there is higher efficiency in agriculture, people living in rural areas can move to urban areas or cities, leaving the land less needed to produce food and that will lessen too much use of lands and fields. We might plant more trees on these empty spaces and reduce the environmental damages.
Thus, we should all start thanking population growth instead of trying hard to limit the number of babies to be born. Who knows some of them would create great inventions in the future?
Population is the group of all organisms which live in the same place . Population will high in other countries depend with the law in every country. Some of the country have low population and some of them also have a high population . Measure the population by census is a good way, Government will do that every year to know the population growth each year.
ReplyDeleteRight now some of the country are trying to control their population , the population like China and Indonesia is overpopulation because the population is to many refers to the GDP per head. However, with high population government can produce more output and get more income to build the infrastructure. Government also can help the poverty by educated the people because government have more money that get from their population which produce more income. Young people also can save their money for their colleges, university and until adult because the country have more facilities that government build from high income which it get from the output .
On the other hand high population make a big problem . People are fighting each other for land to build houses because many people are live there and there is no space for them to live. Many people also fight for clean water because they lack of clean water. Clean water is very needed for drink, take a bath, and clean their own clothes. Moreover more pollution will happen if there is more population, because they work for the company and the capital produce CO2 which is dangerous for their health. And then high population also create a scarcity of resources many of them are fight to get resources to fulfil their needs and wants . And when the government come to help the government will help them to give their needs strictly , if not the resources will be out of stock. Government also need to build more place to work , if not it will create high unemployment . In high population country many of them will be selfish and will produce something from them like foods and others because resources very rare and it create more people will work at agricultural sector. Many people will not educated because the school is full and they must find money they work and it will create uneducated people. most of them will be uneducated and many of them will don't know how to keep their life healthy , many people will die in young ages.
In conclusion that Government not always need population growth because many effect that create not benefit for both site for government and for the people also. Government can control the population to make their aims , but for reducing poverty it can be by educated them . Population must be controlled to save the resources which can't be recycled and cut the conflict between other country that fight for the government. High population can give us certain benefit which good for our economy but the population still must be controlled to cut the effect that very dangerous for future.
Population is all inhabitants who live in a country or some place. Population growth in everywhere in every country even until the place to growth was full, but in some countries population growth also decline by many factors like unhealthy life, less education and others. Population rate keep increasing every year especially in less develop country like in Africa for example they need more children in order to help the family economics, but actually the one that they are doing are totally wrong because if they do that they need more space to live and also they need to spend more money on buying land.
ReplyDeleteEvery country has their different opinion and different wants so not every country want increase in the population, because if there were too many population in the county the country will be scarce of resources of food, drinks, and land because everybody need something to eat and place to live. There is also one dangerous factor that may be build by the scarcity of resources. High selling price of food, drinks, and land are the dangerous factor, even some people still can buy those things but for poor people they may die because they don’t have enough money and place to live. The effect of it will make the death rate of the country become very high. Also unemployment will be very high because many factories are closed due to the scarcity of resources.
Unemployment rate is the indicator to prove that the country economics is good or no because by looking at it we can decide that the country have a good government management or no. If the country economic is not good no one want to invest on that country business and also the country exchange money rate will be low. Low exchange rate also bring an impact to the debt of the country because they have very low income and they need to borrow money in order to grow their economic back.
In conclusion that increase in population are the most unlikely to be happen because it bring unbeneficial to the government and to all firms. Too many populations in a country also bring bad things like conflict with other countries about each of their country economics and all those conflict can also combine by racist. But country with less population still need population rate to be growth because they need more workers and more citizen in order for their country to be growth and have a high chance of HDI (Human Development Index).

ReplyDeleteso it means that population is a group of people that live in particular or same geographic area. there were 6,973,738,433 people that lived on earth, in 2011. there are billion of people live in a country, government are measured them by doing what it is called census. a census is the procedure of systematically acquiring and recording information about the population in an area. population are growing faster and faster from past 100 years ago population grows twice a period.
there are several causes of population growth, such as : increase in birth rate, decline death rate, longer life-expectancy, migration, lack in education, cultural influence, low standard of living, early marriage, climate in a particular area, resistance to population control drive. so, increase in birth rate might cause increase in population because if the birth rate increase it means that people area created so it can increase the population. decline in death rate might increase the growth of population, because of if the people in that country have more/longer life-expectancy population will not decrease so it will make the population increase faster. migration can cause the population increase, if the people migrate to an area and in that area people are not going out, it cant meet and it will make the population increase. lack in education also can make the population increase because of people in an area don't understand the impact of having more child in economy, it will cost they produce more; also if they don't have any education they will believe in culture. some of it is like in china. in china if a family don't have a son they will try to produce it because they believe that a son can bring happiness (cultural influence). increase in population also can be happened by low standard of living, if people know they have low standard of living they will produce more child and they hope at least one of them will survive and get money and can give them some of it. early marriage, caused the population increase because of if teenager married and produce child more and it can increase the population. climate in a particular area,also can be one of the causes of population increase because of if people live in tropical area without any storm and etc it will not dangerous and it will make population increase. resistance to population control drive, the population control drive has not been pursed by the Government of Pakistan in right way due to resistance on ethical grounds, and it will cost people can't control what they wanted.
talking about population growth there are 3 types of population in an area. there are under populated, optimum and overpopulated, but because of it is about the increase in population, under population isnt related with this. so, over populated is a stage when population are growing so fast and over populated the area, and it overcome the labor that needed in that area. optimum-population is when the population of working age meets the labor of the area.
there are several causes of increasing population in an area. there are 2 types of it, there are : environmental problem and economical problem. for environmental problem, there are rarity of clean water, rarity of food, clothes, etc. also there will be a problem of resources, and it will leads to the economical problem such as increase in unemployment because of no firms available for those labor, also inflation could happen and it leads to stagflation, also shortage of education facilities including schools, colleges, qualified teachers, and the place to life, more slumps area will make, increase gov't expenditures, like subsidizing those people.

Global human population, therefore, can be defined as the total number of living humans on this earth, which has reached the amount of 7 billion people. Population growth refers to the increase in the global human population. Population growth can be positive or negative, positive indicating an increase in the total population whereas negative indicating a decline in the total population. These people argue that we only have limited amount of resources at hand, if the population continues to grow, the resources will be spread thinner and thinner among the people. From an LEDC country’s point of view, this is certainly true. LEDC country all across the globe such as Bangladesh, Somalia, etc. has dealt with scarcity problem for decades. Their population growth rate is increasing rapidly and as a result, a high proportion of their population died everyday due to scarcity-related problems such as malnutrition and starvation.
In contrast, some people argued that population growth, with proper care and adequate provisions will benefit the globe and clear out all these problems. As more people nowadays receive better educations and pursue better careers, the population growth in some parts of the globe are declining. Less people are settling down and start a family and more people are becoming career-oriented. Lots of MEDC countries such as Canada, UK, and France are experiencing this. More and more of their people are focusing on their careers and less people want to have kids and start a family. These countries have more than adequate provisions of resources and funding to help support their country. But now they have another major problem to solve. If the population decline continues, soon they will have no people or country to govern. Therefore the only thing the government of these countries can rely on is their immigrations. To attract more immigration into their country, many of these countries give out scholarships to teenagers who would like to pursue higher education in their famous universities and top schools. Canada is an example of this type of country. Canada has looked all over the world, including in Indonesia, for potential student immigrations.
If these countries can achieve positive population growth rate, the whole world will be beneficial. A highly educated workforce would be produced and as a result, more resources and developments will be produced as well. Some of the workforce would even help the LEDC countries by giving donations, teaching and giving the people proper education and built shelters. MEDC countries would have a generation to continue its legacy and MEDC countries would gladly help the funding in LEDC countries. And soon, with these developments and supports, LEDC countries would start developing and become a MEDC country as well. The globe will have a stable population growth then with less scarcity problems to deal with.
In conclusion, population growth is not always desirable but it is not always undesirable as well. In LEDC countries, population growth may be seen as the core of all the problems they’re dealing with, starting with scarcity. But in MEDC countries, they need population growth or else, their country would cease to exist. Proper growth in MEDC countries would definitely benefit the entire globe if taken care properly. And if this is successful, the problems in LEDC countries may be helped as well and the global economy would be on the verge towards improvements for years to come.
A steady population growth has always been one of the factors that the government wants to achieve. Many people agreed that a high population growth will only bring misery to the others. Thomas Malthus once written about the concerns for population growth and that in his view, population growth will only bring misery to people. His concerns were regarding overpopulation that will cause problems such as scarcity and fewer spaces. And that population growth has to be controlled. Many economists up to this day also agreed with him. But a closer look to this problem brings a debate in the government.

As the boys wrote up there, population increase do bring you problems of scarcity for land, food, clean water, and many more. But if we took some examples by countries with high population such as China, can we clearly determine that a high population growth bring disadvantages? From my point of view, they’re now doing quite a good job in the worldwide economy now with them knocking down America. And I see that it happen because the government use their resources to their full potential or maximize their resources unlike LEDCs that has low control on their resources such as deforestation in Borneo, Indonesia and the government’s low attention.
For countries with high population growth, this means more demands and consumers for the firms. The firms will react to it and produce even more products, possibly even entering new markets which will create more markets in the country and creating more variety of goods. More firms also mean more jobs to be opened. More will be employed and have income to spend on and living standard rose. Increasing output creates a possibility of an economic growth. More investments from other countries will be made, and investments on capital equipment increases. This however triggers inflation, pollutions, and the most important problem we always try to avoid, scarcity of resources for housing needs. The government can control this by using their fiscal and monetary policies however.
Due to more demands, there will be rising taxes and more revenue to the government. More investments on infrastructures then creates a bigger and more advanced technology to enjoy. Transportation, the important factor for international trade will be taken care of easier and communications to other countries are easier thus creating a bond between the countries for a better international trade so that the countries might work on their best element, and even creating a name in the international world.
As we see, population growth might be undesirable, but they should not always be regarded as undesirable. They do create big problems that the government do not want, but they have their own advantages too so we can’t blame it. Population growth is natural and cannot be stopped. But we can control it. Problems happened because of low control from the big authorities, and not enough education or correct information on how to use them. Governments should control this, do some action, and stop thinking too much on their capital city.

Economic growth refers to the increase in the real output of an economy. It is measured by the 2 main economic indicators, GDP per capita or HDI (Human Development Index). GDP per capita measures the total output of an economy in terms of money to the working population of that economy to get the general average of earnings of the people. As the economy grows, people would earn more for their works and thus, will raise the general earnings of the society which will be indicated by the rise of GDP per capita. On the other hand, HDI measures the living standards of the society. A society enjoying high living standards will be better educated and healthier than those with lower living standards. And with economic growth, people will earn more and they will then be able to provide better education and health care for their families.
What role does the Morin Factory play in increasing the economic growth of the Indonesian Economy, then? Factories like the Morin Factory has played many vital roles for the economic growth of the Indonesian economy, this includes increasing the national GDP by the income they generate and their products. The income generated by Morin is included in the national GDP, therefore, the more income Morin generates, the higher will the national GDP be.
As well as rising GDP, Morin Factory also helped the economy by employing the local workforce. Unemployment in the region decreases as Morin Factory gathers all the workforces they needed, the demand for labor increases as a result and unemployment declines. By this, Morin Factory has already helped the government with another economic aim, which is a low unemployment rate. In addition, by employing the local workforce, the local workforce can learn new things such as new technologies and new production processes. They may receive trainings and guidance from the company which will improve the education of the local people. All in all, the government receives benefits from companies like Morin as the unemployment rate declines and their workforce became more educated.
On the other hand, companies like the Morin Factory may cause some problems as well. Morin produces jam spreads, which is a food product; therefore they need to keep all the products they sent to distributors in good condition. If a batch of products should fail, the false goods are burnt along with their glass jars. This causes air pollution as well as ground pollution. The smoke from the burning materials may also be harmful for the local society. Diseases may spread, and the local society suffers as a result. Aside from the burning process, the production waste of factories, like Morin Factory, may also be extremely harmful. If these waste are not taken care of properly, the water may be polluted, it may even reach the local water source. If the local water source is affected, the whole region may suffer. These effects may reduce the overall health of the society and reduce living standards. Unhealthy workforce leads to ineffective production and decreasing labor productivity. In effective and decreasing labor productivity will then result to declining economic growth.
In conclusion, firms such as the Morin Factory may help support the economy and economic growth but they may also cause some severe problems for the government. Morin has helped the government by supporting economic growth, reducing unemployment and educate current workforce about the newest technologies and production practices. But, Morin may have contributed to the local pollution problem and this decreases the living standards as well as overall health which lead to a decline in economic growth. But if these problems are taken care of properly, they can be overcome or even avoided.

This business has grown large due to it’s fame, this kind of strength can eliminate competitors, such as other famous brand as skippy. The morin factory said that they hold 50% of market share in type of jam food for breads. They said that every flavour of jam have their own competitor like peanut butter the competitor is skippy. They’ve done some awesome job in making customers happy by providing good customer care for the consumer.
The factory said that they receive some proposal to export their jam to other countries. The morin factory both produce and sell their product to be exported to other country this company’s fame has spread through countries as the tour guide says, they said that they’ve export their goods to Malaysia and they said that the most popular flavour in malaysia is peanut butter, they said that not every country has the same market share as in indonesia because they have different lifestyle and favourites, so they said that not every country can be profitable when a company export a product internationally.
This company has help alot the country and the government because this big company must’ve received such a big profit due to it’s popularity among people, and by holding 50% market share in food part jam in Indonesia. These kind of company must’ve give alot of tax to the government to the company because the government must’ve take an amount of percentage to this company. As the Income raise for the government the country will soon be developed because of this company. This company provide money to the government which the company can use for the good of the people not for corruption which the main reason why country like Indonesia didn’t develop fast enough, because company’s tax usually taken for the government selfishly for themself to use.As people live below poverty line and hunger the government keep taking people’s money rather than using it to develop a country and to provide better services, healthcare to it’s people. The government can use company’s profits tax to use for improving services around indonesia. Even exporting resources to other country will give government income because the company will be charged in form of money which is called import and export tax.
Exporting goods to other country by companies like Morin is good, as the benefits of international trade happens the country also get incomes. These trade advantages like increasing a strong bond between countries can happen, example if Indonesia get a natural hazard country will come to help Indonesia because of strong bond between countries. Company like morin should be admired because these kind of company contributes alot. Even it have some disadvantages, the admit that they use optimalizing machines rather than human workforce because its faster and produce large number of quantities, im afraid later if the world have good technology the factory will no longer need of human workforce and poverty will rise and can cause economic development to slow down or even stopped growing if these machines problem continues further.
The conclusion is that morin factory has created economic effects both internationally and nationally because morin use international trade and national trade to increase profits. Morin factory or company also create both advantages and disadvantages for human needs.
Not overly, but also not sparsely populated has become one of the government objective. a balance population with its growth in its gross domestic product to maintain the existing standard of living is a must. there are negative and positive affects in an increase or decrease in the population of a country, but it shouldn’t have been always regarded as undesirable.
ReplyDeletethe positive affect in the increase of population is that the country can get more work force and national productivity may rise. there will also be faster economic growth and many people can all share their experiences among the others making the country a knowledgeable country. improving the countries’ trade structures in an economic boost will also be one of the benefits. growing populations pressure society to better serve the customers and results competitiveness. For instance, high-yield crops were developed to increase food production largely in response to growing populations. in addition to all of this, Population Growth can also be as a Sign of Social Health Although not a direct effect of population growth. it shows that the societies are healthy. For instance, population growth often signals lower mortality rates through advances in medicine and science.
in the other hand there are also the negative effect. Higher growth rate generally leads to reduced per capita income, no access to food, clean water, housing, reduced standard of living, extreme pressure on all resources by excessive population - all leading to increased poverty rate (scarcity). population growth too fast would overtax the Earth's resources and eventually lead to disease, starvation and death. it will also be a very competitive business in line and there will be lots of competitors which will may lead to unemployment. Another negative effect of population growth is waste control. When there are relatively few people, controlling waste is a much simpler task. However, as populations grow, the waste increases. we have to find a spot to dump the waster so that it wont poison the environment is a must, because if we don’t it will leads to a number other serious issues and becomes a massive public health problem.
if there is a negative growth in the country that will be a problem for the country because in the long run work force gets reduced and national productivity may come down. the country wont be able to developed and improve thus results to more deaths.
to conclude this I don’t think if an increase in the population of a country is always undesirable because there are negative but also positive impact on an increase in the population. Normally, it is desirable to have modest increase in population to match with the growth of GDP of a nation. In such situations, the growth of national wealth matches with growth in population so that population will not put any pressure on the economy of nation. Many countries face problem of zero growth in population. strive to achieve a stable population has always become the best solution. not to dense, but also not sparse.

We can see how they sortation, roasting, cooking, filling, commercial product , and until packing. there are several market target at Morin company , their first target is family and personal. They will distribute their product to supermarket and hospital to create easy access by the consumer to buy. There are some applicants is breakfast, and juice. Many workers work there and produce output which is jam.
Morin company help government to do the government aims which is low unemployment. Many employees work there to produce output that can help government also. when the output is increase , the company income will be high and government get income from income tax. The tax will be used to build the infrastructure and help poor people. In company more income also help them to expand their company and factory to become bigger . Morin employees using Batch production method's , this help the employees to work faster and more efficient. Batch production also get a revenue that can be used for pay the employees. Batch production is use technology so the employees can be educated by that machine . Jam also can give a nutrient to Indonesia they can study and educated. Morin also create a good relationship with other country which help to give training to their employees this will help their employee to increase their education .
On the other hand Morin company using batch production , Batch production is expensive and produce a waste product which create a pollution . Pollution create a conflict the government aims, because government try to protect the air by planting more trees. Pollution also create some disease which will decrease the level of living standard. In river pollution also happen because of waste product, the waste product destroy the ecosystem and later on people will hard to find clean water. However, when the company get more revenue they will save and try to expand their factories. In addition that expand factories need new land to use, Morin company will destroy the forest to build a new factory produce more output . But it against with government aims which is "go green" , if there is no land left, people will fight for land when they lack of resources. Lack of resources can be happen due to the high population which needs more resources.
In conclusion that Morin company create some disadvantages and conflict with government aims, like pollution, destroy the forest for new land , but all of that can be prevent in the future since the technology development is fast .technology development will create less waste product that can help the government aims. Moreover we can see now the advantages which can give income to the government that help the government to build the infrastructure to create easy access . Relationship with other company can create a good relationship and educated from employees training. Morin also help to reduce the unemployment it means that Morin help government objectives.

Morin is the biggest jam company in Indonesia, and is currently the leader of the market, with them holding around 50% of it. Even though they have big competitors, they still managed to be the best and even trying to go international and make Indonesian jam to be known. As one of the biggest jam company producer, they help economic growth in many ways.

In developed countries, factories use machinaries to do everything from the producing to packing, but Indonesia is a large country with high population growth and big population. We have to use resources to their fullest, so we hire employees. Employees in Indonesia aren’t as costly as it is in other countries. And since the country has high unemployment level, Morin chooses to be labour-intensive since they still employ many employees for small tasks such as packing. Even though it is not efficient enough and more mistakes will be made, it decreases unemployment and brings economic growth.
Morin is a financial-reward company that seeks for profit and getting more investments. They produce products to sell for families to eat in the morning and provide jams for flavoring of foods such as bread and ice cream. It generates profit everyday, but this does not mean all their needs are fulfilled and with the company wanting more income, they will advertise more and expand. Investors from other countries see this and will make investments in the company, bringing economic growth.
Morin made its international debut not a long time ago. The brand recognition outside the country is poor, and as jams are produced originally from Europe, most people know Indonesia only for our crops. When it comes to jam, they will prefer the European made and would not choose. However lately Morin has been promoting this a lot and more countries are aware of Morin. This brings more recognition for Indonesia and so more countries will be interested in investing in Indonesia and increases international trade.
They also produce Carrefour’s original jam and some other jams, the difference is in the composition of the product and the label but produced in their factory. This means there are more competitors, which is a threat to them, but then it means that the market expands with more companies, and this can create a bigger rivalry between every company to make their brand the best, which means in bigger productivity. But this causes resources being used up so they have to use it efficiently.
Morin helps the country to have economic growth in so many ways. It reduces unemployment, economic growth, balance of payments, and increase in international trade. However they can bring possible inflation, scarce of resources, and monopoly in the market. These can be overcome if there’s a good control in economy.

Last time we were visiting Morin, one of the biggest companies in Indonesia. Astaguna Wisesa,PT. was made in 1978 and founded by an entrepreneur Hadi Januar and presently the product under brand "MORIN". It has been a No.1 market leader in the Jam & Spread category. Morin is a brand that used by PT Asta Guna Wisesa, they are also known as private limited company. Morin is the brad that was came from the "Nrimo" that means receive in Javanese language.
In there we were doing a field trip, at there we could studied about some of their strategies of business. We were given a chance to go inside the production process. At the first they produce a peanut butter, and it was going well then they develop it until it becomes many types of it. Until now they produce it batch.
They're the leader of the jam production in that country, so it means that they monopolize the jam supply in Indonesia. Now days they also produce some of the jam to some of the country in South East Asia and some Middle East area, they also produce to Egypt to satisfying consumer needs. They distribute their product to some of the distributor in Indonesia, like : Lotte, Makro, etc. they are not sell their product directly from production place. Their Segment are people who age from kids (6years old -12 years old) to teenage(12 years old to 20 years old) and to adult (20 years old - up). They produce their product also for family use, then they also produce some of their product to be used as the filling to food, such as filling for bread, also cake, etc.
What I like from this company is their production process. They don't use many machine but more on labor so it means that it also helps economy to be better by decreasing unemployment. Even tough they are doing batch production they don't want to use all 100 % machines. Some of it ( about 40 %) was produced by machine but there are 60 % is produced by human resources. if inflation happens in an Economy ( Indonesia ) they prefer more on the quality of their product than the cost but that doesn't means that they don't try to push down the price of their product, this is from what I was researching. In production process they also produce some of others/private labels ( other company that wanted to makes a jam with lower price) that want to also produce jam but in lower price. I think it is caused by the price of their jam is for what they called as consumers type A+( very rich / always use their products ), A ( they are rich but just often buy their product), B+ ( Middle class people that used their products), and the last is B ( middle class people but usually buy their products). But for type C+ and C ( lower class people but wanted to buy their products) they can't buy their product, so Morin gives they C+ , and C to the private labels
There is a way of their promotion strategies, it is the combination of above and below the line. They collaborate it so they use the above the line strategies to introduce their product to market so there will be brand awareness, but for increase sell they use below the line method. They also have collaboration of leadership style, like for the marketing site they use autocratic style of leader, but in the production process as what I saw was, they use democratic style. They said that they rarely use money as the motivation to their employees; instead of using money they give them extra holiday to their employees. So their employees will not tired working, they also do some activities with their employee such as gathering, outbound, etc. it means that they give non financial reward instead of financial.
Morin Factory is well known as one of the market leaders as it holds 50% of the Indonesian market in jam and spread category. It is a private limited company owned by PT. Astaguna Wisesa Indonesia and has this famous tagline, “Morin Jodohnya Roti”, which convinces consumers that Morin is the best partner to enjoy with bread. As it is the type of food you would find for breakfast, its target market is clearly families and individuals or specifically segmented for males and females in the ages of 6 to 40 years old. High quality product for all members of the family, completed with local taste and affordable price is what Morin has been positioning at. It has its distribution channels spreaded over parts of Indonesia, most easily found in hypermarkets, groceries stores, supermarkets, minimarts, and also hospitals, mining camps, etc.

Economic growth rises from the increase in amount of goods and services produced in an economy, and if Morin factory keeps trying to increase its productivity of workers in production processes, it can help raise the economic growth of Indonesia. Better quality and bigger quantity in productions will raise consumer satisfaction and also, raise demand.
Morin products have been also exported and used in Malaysia, one of our neighbour countries. This export has given Indonesia some earnings, and with products made in the Morin factory, we can use it for trade with other businesses in different regions or countries. As an example, we trade our jam and spread to Malaysia for their palm oils in return. This will increase the benefits of specialization and, therefore, also tie up the bond between countries. It also increases efficiency and productivity as we can have more workers focusing on one kind of production instead of dividing them into groups that will take care of various kinds of production. The trade between Indonesia and other countries can support the development of our country.
There are advantages that Morin has been giving the society, too. Morin factory employs workers, although in less amount due to the use of machineries and high-tech equipments, and that means with the growth of Morin business, unemployment can be reduced. This means that with the growth of Morin factory, government’s responsibility is reduced, off the problems of high unemployment in Indonesia.
During the visit to Morin factory, I found many uses of machine in doing tasks in the factory. These tasks include the mixing of strawberry jam, the bottling of jam and the lasering of expiration dates. In contrast, the use of labour force is specially for jobs that can’t be done by machines, such as sorting nuts that can be used to make jam out of it.
In conclusion, Morin factory, as one of the biggest market leaders in Indonesia, in jam and spread category of course, contributes many benefits for the Indonesian economy. Besides, demand for jam and spread in Indonesia is usually less than that in Eastern countries, but it still can be satisfied by the growth of businesses like Morin. Governments should start giving support to companies which are growing international like this and standards of living shall be raised.
