  2. Many factors can influence a woman’s choice of career. Cultural, or family, traditions. Her specific skill set. Her interests and passions. The most important non-wage factors that affect the choice of career of a woman would be socialization and co-workers. Because women love socializing and chatting with friends, it might be one of the important factors that might affect a woman’s choice of career. Skill level of job also affects the choice she make. The education she pursued and her performance in education because this has a huge bearing on the start she receives in her career in terms of the organization she is employed with, the role and the starting salary – These have a huge bearing on the way her career turns out.

Hobby and Enthusiasm affect the job choice of a woman. For example a woman who loves to cook may work at the restaurant. Though nowadays chefs are considered as a skilled job and they might require high skill and a University degree as a prove that you are trained and is now skilled enough to do the job. Women who has a thing for cooking at a very young age may took Culinary as a major in University and graduate with a degree in culinary.

Specialization also affect the job choice of a woman. A woman who is good in a specific thing may apply a job that requires that skill. For example a woman is good in doing make ups on face, so she might apply the makeup artist job. Or a woman is good at selling things, so she might apply to a company for the saleswomen job.

Location affect a career choice of a woman too. Some women may have limited energy to travel on far distance. Many careers are affected by geography, which can play a factor in career choices in a number of ways. For example, a young woman choosing a management career in retail packaged food will find most career paths leading to Chicago, which is the center of the consumer packaged goods industry. An aspiring magazine writer will find most career paths leading to New York and Los Angeles, where the majority of U.S. magazines are headquartered. For some, location is the first factor in career choice, as they first choose where to live and then look for available career options there.

Work-life balance affect a career choice for a woman in her lifetime. A woman with children may want to divide her time between her work, her children, her husband, and also her duty as a wife and mother. A woman works in the morning, came home in the evening, then she have to shop for groceries, and also the parent’s meeting at the school where her children goes, and do household chores at night, and so on. She might want to view the job’s time duration, some might want to work part time, others full time, and so on. Her work and family have to be provided with equal attention.

  3. Women who are career-minded are often conflicted by many other responsibilities. With the high cost of living and increasing taxes, many women have to return to work and try to work their way up the career ladder.

This are some factors that affect women's choice of choosing an occupation

    1 Interests and Skill Sets
An honest and thorough evaluation of your interests and skill sets is a good first step toward making a wise a career choice. Matching what you like to do and what you do well to your career can make the difference between liking and resenting your job. Take the time to write down your strengths, weaknesses and interests, then try to match them to different opportunities in the job market.

    2 Education
Education plays a major role in how people choose a profession. Although some occupations don't require formal training, your opportunities are limited without the right education. If you need to know which careers best fit your education, consult resources that provide data on the educational requirements of different jobs. A good place to start is the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook. It provides detailed information on the required and preferred training of hundreds jobs across every industry.

    3 Salary Range
Unless you’re wealthy, the salary range of a given profession might either deter or entice you in your job pursuit. Salary is often the determining factor for career choice. For instance, a single person might be able to live well on a limited income, but a breadwinner often needs to provide income for his entire family. Here, too, the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook can provide detailed information for specific jobs and salary ranges to help you map out well-chosen career path.

    4 The Facts
The Women Employed website reports that 63% of women work, and 54% of women work full time. This leaves less time for families, personal time and any outside activities that a woman might enjoy. Also, statistics show that women earn less than a man doing the same type of job. In fact, the website for Women Employed reports that a woman earns 77 cents on the dollar as compared to a man.

    5 Childbirth/Motherhood
Women work very hard to get their education and build their careers. Then, when they try to have a family, they need to take time off for childbirth. Many women with careers such as physicians, business owners and lawyers try to only take a minimal amount of time off because of their need to be present at work. In addition, motherhood leaves many women very conflicted. They are ridden with guilt if they are not there for their children and guilty and stressed if they don't perform the expected duties at work. They often struggle with balancing the two in an effort to be 100% with both. This difficult balancing act can be both tiring and frustrating, and there are women who tend to perform poorly with both jobs.

  4. 6 Work Attitudes
Whether many people realize it or not, how they feel about work can have an affect on the types of careers that they eventually find themselves in. Having a positive attitude about working can result in being able to manage high levels of stress and responsibility in addition to being self-motivated. In addition, attitudes can contribute to the factors that drive people to work in certain careers; such as those attracted to high earnings, wanting to work with specific groups of people or needing independence.

    7 Availability of Jobs
When choosing a career, a big factor is how many jobs will be available at certain levels. If you are a new graduate or are trying to switch careers mid-life, this can be a determining factor as to what type of work you settle on. Local industries can play a large part in what work people do, so if you are looking for something that is outside of available work, you can expect to have to relocate to find a job.

The conclusion is women need to have the education and skills to work in a occupation that offer high wages rates even though women earns less then men because men have the ability to work longer than women and the men are usually have more skill in an occupation than women

  7. Non-wage factors are factors without payments. The examples of non-wage factors are type of work, working conditions, working hours, holidays, fringe benefits, location, and hobbies. The way woman choses a job are different from the way man choses a job. Woman will be more focused on non-wage factors than man.
Non-wage factors such as type of work may influence woman picking their job because if the work is too hard, woman will not work. But if the work is easy or okay, woman can do the job. They also choose the job according to their hobby, for example if their hobby is cooking, they can be a chef. If women work not according to their hobby, it will not be fun. If it is according to their hobby, woman will do it whole heartedly and happily.
Working hours may influence too, because for woman’s the working hours should not be too long. For man it’s okay because man strengths are stronger than woman’s. If work too long, they will be tired and not able to do work again. And if the working hour is too long, they can’t meet their families.
Working conditions such as light, temperature, and equipment might influence women too. The company should provide light so that workers can see what they are doing. The temperature should also be normal, not too hot and not too cold. And the company should also prepare the equipment for workers. The job should also be safe, and not dangerous.
Women need holidays to have time with their families. So the company must give holidays for women workers. So that women workers can rest and have time with their families. They also should not give too little holiday because a woman needs longer rests.
Fringe benefits also one of the non-wage factors that influence woman picking a job. Examples of fringe benefits are vacation pay, company cars, health insurance, and retirement plans. If workers need to go on vacation to do their work from the company, the company must pay for the vacation trip. If suddenly workers got sick in the middle of working, they need to go to the hospital. The hospital fee should be pay by the company too. Fringe benefits are things that workers don’t need to pay, and not added to their wages either.
Woman also needs education to find their job. If their level of education is low, opportunities to find jobs are a little. But if they have high education, it is easier for them to find their job. Although woman is more affected by the non-wage factors, they are also affected by the wage factors. Such as wages, bonuses, commission, and overtime pay. If the wages are too little although they are interest in the job, they need to think twice. If they work harder than the rest of the workers, they should be given bonuses too. Commission involves them receiving a proportion of the value of the sales they make. And they should be pay overtime if they work longer than the working hours they should work.
So in conclusion, it’s true that woman is more affected by the non-wage factors because they want to have a fun time working. And their families are very important to them. But they are also affected by the wage factors a bit. So a woman is more affected by the non-wage factors, and man is more affected to the wage factors.

  8. Women’s choice of occupation do not always come from wages; there are more factors and reasons why women work. Usually women earn less wages than men, because they need to take care of their families, as the result this can tells that some women might not consider wages as their main goal in their jobs and for them, wages is not really important, now we will discuss the other opinion of why women work.

Women can stay in that job if they think that the job is interesting .They can work for socialization and find friends there, if they want popularity with other people, then working can make them enjoy better than doing activities and tasks at home because some people think doing daily activities are boring. Women with hobbies and specialization or abilities can work where companies need skilled workers, such as: journalism career and music career. There are some women who love to write a book as their hobby and they have the skill to do that, so they do not really need wages, but they just want to express and develop their hobbies through working. In music career, they can find inspiration from other workers to create a song because they are skilled people and they are highly educated. Other women prefer to work so they can gain more knowledge, if they gain more knowledge, they can work in other places and increase their level of experience. In family, men can somehow create a business and women choose to help the work, women can feel positive accomplishment, it means that they are satisfied when they have finished their works, in that situation, do they need wages? No, they do not, some women think that work can allows women to balance in both work and their families, they do not just manage their household but they also work somewhere else.

As we see on the other side of the factors above, aiming other goals in their works and not earning wages can effect so many problems. Although it is their hobbies to develop their talents, socializing to get friends, gaining experience and knowledge in the jobs, it is useless if they earn small wages, how can they live? They cannot pay their family costs like raising their children, paying school fee, buying goods. Even though the women are not the only one who work in that family. We need to understand that some families have troubled in fulfilling their financial needs especially if they are living in a city, the living cost will be much more expensive than living in countryside, even sometimes both of their parents that focus only on wages are working they still cannot have enough money to support the family, how about women who want other things in their work besides wages fulfill the needs? Of course they will need a really hard work to fulfill them.

From all this, the conclusion is women cannot be influence in their occupation only because of wages; they may work for other goals. The factors of the other goals that are mentioned above are socialization, hobbies, helping their family’s business, gaining experience and there are much more examples that influence the choice of occupation

  10. All people go to work to get high wages/salary, to buy goods and services and fulfill their needs and wants. But, there are some people, especially woman, go to work because of the non-wage factors. Even they think that non-wage factors are likely to be more important than wages factors. This could affect them to choose their occupation. Why this could be happen? There are some factors that makes this happen. Let’s discuss more about this in the next paragraph.

Some womans think the non-wage factors are more important than the wages factors. This could be happen because of some factors. The first common factors is, some of the woman, especially woman that already having a children, will take career breaks to raise their children. So they only go to work, for their additional income and they will choose an occcupation that not takes their energy too much, because for woman that already having a children, it is important to take care of their children. The other factors that makes this happen, is some womans want to go to work to find as much experience as they can. Now woman and man have equal position or degree, according to the equal pay laws. So that, the company will accept any workers, with more experience and have special skill. Some womans go to work, not because to earn high salary or wages, but they will find an occupation that matched with their skill. Because if we are working in a company, we need the specialized knowledge about it. More woman also tend to work in occupations such as teaching, nursing, and retailing. There are some other factors that makes woman think the non-wage is the most important. For example, a woman of course have many friend for chatting with each other, some of them want to work in the same occupation, example, woman A have a best friend, her name is woman B. Woman A decided to work as a teacher, and woman B also want to have the same occupation with women B.

Against the statement above, we can see that non-wage factor can be one of the factor for woman even all the people to choose their occupation. The evidence is that labor market discrimination against women persists, although it is difficult to determine precisely how much of the difference in female/male pay is due to discrimination and how much is due to differences in choices or preferences between women and men. One indirect and rough measure of the extent of discrimination remaining in the labor market is the "unexplained" difference in pay. Some studies have tried to measure discrimination directly by looking at pay differences among men and women in very similar jobs or by comparing pay to specific measures of productivity. These studies consistently find evidence of ongoing discrimination in the labor market and support the conclusion that women still face differential treatment on the job.

In conclusion, there are many non-wage factors that influencing woman’s occupation for their career. Not all woman think that wages is the most important factors for them, to choose their occupation. But, there’s also some woman think that wages is important. So, non-wage factors are likely to be more important than wage factors in influencing a woman’s choice of occupation.

  11. Some woman's chooses to work in a non-wage factor occupation and some woman chooses to work in a wage factor occupation. Some woman chooses to work in a non-wage factor occupation because the family needs the mother to work as a housewife and taking care of the children while the father works to earn money to buy goods and services. Some women work in a non-wage factor occupation is also because some women works due to her past or childhood which makes her to work for charity or voluntary work for people who are in need. But some woman also works for wage factor occupation because they need the income for the family or she needs it to buy goods and services. Some woman also works for wage factor occupation even though she is already rich to have something to do or because she is bored. The example is that there is a woman that works as a teacher even though she is very rich and the wage is not that much but she works to only pass the time by. Every woman have different needs and wants which makes them to choose different type of occupations.

Some women too even though they are filthy rich they also still work in non-work wage factors because some women want to help people who are in need which is advantageous for both the woman and the people in need because the people are helped with financial and the the woman could spend her time doing good things and in excitement and fun. Some women too work in a non-wage factor occupation even though they want to work to get wages because jobs are limited so they can possibly cannot be hired to work and also companies and firms prefer men too work because of discrimination of that they thought that men work better than men.
Women who are poor with no education or low education also can't work or have low wages because there are scarce job available and companies and firms only want to hire educated person.

It's advantageous when woman works in wage factor occupation because they can have more money to buy their needs and wants and savings for their children. It's also advantageous working in a non-wage factor occupation because if the woman becomes a housewife she can take care of her children better and the house can be cleaner and more comfortable for the family to stay at the house. They also can have much rest and not stress because they work freely because they are not paid or they voluntarily worked.

Working in a wage factor occupation has a disadvantageous too because by working for a wage factor occupation they have less time with their family and they would be more busy than working in a non-wage occupation. In wage factor occupation, women are given less wages by the companies because they are discriminated by the companies because they think that men work better than women. It's also disadvantageous working in a non-wage factor because they will have less money to buy goods and services because only the man works.

The conclusion is that women have different needs and wants and they have different situation than others that's why some women works as different type wage factor occupation.

  12. Non wages factor is the factor that affecting someone's occupation without the wages rate. Woman usually wants the job which is not heavy and they wanted to be treated well by their workmates or their boss. But woman often get lower salary than men.

Dirty job is one of the most important factor that women don't want. Dirty job is a dangerous job which has a high risk for example soldier, only some woman want to work in army forces.

Work flexibility also something that workers want especially women. After a couple have children the woman needs a flexible work time because they need to take care of their children. Job like a businessman has more time flexibility because they can arrange their work easily.

Fringe benefit also the factor that women wants. Fringe benefit is the benefit offered by the business for their worker for example company car, retirement money, longer leave, etc.

Work location also matters workers especially women, if the location of the job is far it will be hard for them to reach their work location.

Skills and abilities also play major role in how people find their job. people with more skills and abilities is called the skilled worker they have special knowledge and experience. they also have higher demand than supply which makes them have high salary for example pilot and CEO.

The conclusion is that many working women think more about the non-wage factor rather than wages rate which make them more comfortable to work.

  13. Women usually do not charge for the money, but these days many women started working with a few reasons. One reason is economic hardship, the emancipation of women, and job satisfaction. Gender pay gap also occurs among men and women. Most women are needed for certain types of jobs. Such as secretaries, teachers, nurses, babysitters. The work is suitable work for women but underpaid. It looks like the gender pay gap.
Wages factor does affect female choice in determining who she will take the job. Usually the woman has a job salary standard however, there is also a big salary because their success women and its leadership in doing the job. But most women in general, they prefer to find a job that keeps them could get together with their families. For non career women, if they want to help finance usually work part time as teaching, sewing clothes, open catering, and open an online shop. If a woman does not have a new job career especially after married, then they decided base on working hours, distance from home to work place, whether the work should move to move and the type of work they will do.
The reason why women prefer non wages than wages factor, firstly Because the women still have to take care of the children and the house so they had to find a job that can be adjusted between time for work and time to get together and be at home. Therefore normally, she decided to do part time job. So that they can still be with her family on night day or on certain holidays.
Secondly, the distance between the home offices makes the women decide which company they will work. Usually a woman will choose a job where is the location of the office is not far away or still be a city with their homes. This is why women rarely hired for a job that requires traveling (around the office to the branch office to check the state).
Thirdly, the Deciding when the part-time or full-time job is to be considered one of them is a time that should be spent working and how the responsibilities of the job. The work shall not take up too much attention and time too much. Because the women have to think about how to take care of the home, caring for children and family attention. It will be better if single women choose full time job and working as hard as possible because during that time is the best time to work and raise money. After married women should reduce the intensity of the work

But there are still women who focuses on women's career so that they still put wages factor in choosing occupation. this is due to several factors, among others, may be the woman is a single parent, the husband may not work, so the focus of the women are looking for money

In conclusion, woman that are married prefer to choose the non wage factor for choosing occupation. The reason is because they need to take care of their family, take care for their children and house. But, not all women chooses non wages factor after married.

  14. Man and woman have their own reason to choose their occupation. Usually man is affected by the wages factor in making choice for occupation. While woman is more depend on the non wages factor in choosing her job. Here are some of the non-wage factors which might influence an individual's choice, such as: length/number of holidays, working conditions/environment, hours of work, promotion/career prospects, travelling distance, size of company, social/canteen facilities, provision of insurance scheme, company car. Non wages factors have bigger influence in woman choices of occupation. There are some reasons why non-wage factor influence woman to have her own job, such as status social, socialization, and workaholic habit.

Women, in her maturity, will have her life. She will get married and organize their family life. She also will have children and keep attention for her children’s growth and education. Her family is her prior focus. On the other hand, she still wants to work and has responsibility with her office. If she only stays at home and become a housewife, she will lose her skills and abilities that she has gotten from the job before she married. Women need work life balance although she has been married. Wage doesn’t mind for her.
Women have habit to gather with their friends. They like to talk each other about anything, go for shopping and spend many times together. If their work in the same occupation and same place to work, they will feel very convenience and make it easy for them to meet and talk. They will think that their office is the best basecamp to gather and share with their friends. So that, they will stay on her occupation for long time and do not think more for the wages.
In this world there are many smart women. They have many skills that man doesn’t have. Besides, women are more passion and think once again when they want to decide a decision. Women can feel satisfied quickly and will love their job very much. They will also put their high responsibility and finish each their job on time, in order that they will be a workaholic, work until their forget themselves. For example, women who have a good skill in accounting and auditing will work at her office until night to finish their job.
Location is one of the reasons why women need to think again to take an occupation. Some women may have limited energy to travel on far distance. Many careers are affected by geography, which can play a factor in career choices in a number of ways. For example, a young woman who wants to be a travel agent must be ready to always go for anywhere, move from one place to another place, to take the tourists and give good explanation about the tourism object. If the woman does not have hobby in travelling, she will not take a job as a travel agent. Maybe, she will choose to be a teacher or accountant, which only stays at office to finish the job. For some, location is the first factor in career choice, as they first choose where to live and then look for available career options there.
In conclusion, women have different opinion and point of view than a man in choosing their occupation. Women prefer non wages factor in influencing their choice, for example: status social, socialization, workaholic habit and location. Women will think twice while they need to choose a proper job or occupation for themselves.

  16. People work to earn money, and then the money that they got from work will be used to fulfill our needs and wants. Examples are for buying drinks, eats, etc. Nowadays, not only men that works, but also women. Women cannot do all jobs. So they need to choose their jobs well. And there are non-wages factors and wage factors. So, these are some non-wage factors that likely to be more important than wage factors in influencing a woman’s choice of occupation.
First, it is because of fringe benefit. Some women work in industries or factories because they can get bonus if there are special events (e.g. Christmas Day) or because they can work well. Second, it is about hours of work. The longer time they work, the higher wages they will get. And for women that have no maid to help them in their home might have shorter time for work. Third, it depends on how secure is the job they choose. If the job is secure enough for women, so they can work there, and there is possibility that many women will at that job. Fourth reason is depends on how interesting and varie the tasks are. It means that if the work has interesting task, so there will be so many women that interested in that job. Fifth, women have higher level of education, so think that their husband or their family cannot fulfill the needs and wants. So, with their salary, they can help their family or husband to buy their needs and wants at that time. If they think they have extra money, they can save the money for their own future in bank. Sixth, it is because of their hobbies. So, they will search for jobs that are related to their talent. Then, they can increase what their talent is. Example is this woman loves to draw or paint. So, they can become street artist. Seventh, if they have no more family that can give work to get money and fulfill their need and wants, it is the time for them to work. Even though they don’t want it, but they have to because how can they eat and drink or buy something else if they don’t have money. Eighth is the work location. If the location is far from where they live, it is hard for women to work at that place because avoid from something negative happen to them.
On another hand, it’s hard for women to get work. It’s because of discrimination in gender. Or we can say the gender pay gap. There are differences in occupational distribution. The example is more women want to work as teacher, nurse, etc. Also, the women will get low wages, although now government and by studying can avoid this happened.
So my opinion is there are some non-wage factors that likely to be more important than wage factors in influencing a woman’s choice of occupation. However, there are still some women that think wages factors are important.

  17. Non-wage factors are factors affecting a person's decision on choosing a job other than wage rates. This includes hours of work, promotion prospects, work flexibility, job security, quality of working environment, work satisfaction and fringe benefits. Non-wage factors are likely to affect the career choices to many individuals, as people do not only consider the wages they earn when applying for a job, they would also seek other benefits of the job. Historically, during WWII, women joined the workforce to replace men who went to war. Women taking up jobs became acceptable and even commendable. Women started to leave the traditional sphere of domestic work and step into factories, and carry out farm and driving work. After the war, most women returned home and men took up their jobs again, but women had proved they are capable of working and within a few decades, women in the workforce are a common sight.

Women, as emotional creatures, are more likely to sway towards the non-wage factors of a job rather than the wage itself. Both men and women would want to feel comfortable and accepted in their job, but men, in general, take into account wages more than non-wage factors, as goes the opposite with women. Women would consider holiday entitlement as an important factor when choosing a job. They might want to take leaves after delivering a child, and if the job does not allow this, women will be less interested to apply. Social factors might also highly affect a woman's choice of occupation. Culture, family, economic status, education and peers all take part in the career choice of a woman. Girls growing up will be exposed to the culture around them, and job selection will be affected by this. For example, there are trends of certain jobs in certain periods of time. This is caused by the culture of a society in an area. Cultural factors include beliefs, morals, and values, such that of specific events that happened in a woman's childhood. Family is also a crucial factor in discovering the career choice of a woman. The first role model of a girl is usually her mother, and some women follow their mother's footsteps when they grow up. Major events in a girl's life may effect her career choice. A prolonged period of sickness, for example, might cause the girl to stay in the company of nurses and doctors. This can lead to fascination and curiosity of the work they do, and can make the child want to be a nurse or doctor when she grows up. The economic status of a family is highly influential to the choice of occupation of a young woman. People that come from an affluent background have easy access to higher education. This can cause individuals to choose a white-collar job instead of a blue-collar one. However, poor people with less education background would need to settle for blue-collar jobs. Lastly, the peer group of a girl can affect her career choice, especially in her course of education. If the group of friends are focused on hard work, this makes it easier for a girl to work hard and achieve educational success. As mentioned earlier, education is one of the main influences on career choice. Childbirth is also undeniably an important moment in a woman's life, and therefore highly affects their career. Women might need to take leaves for 4 months or so, but they might also take leaves later in life for various activities of her child. Women with children would be more interested where leaves are allowed. Women are also more likely to work in the field of their passion or hobby, sometimes without considering the wage rates or salary of the job. They might place the enjoyment of the job to be more important than the wages itself. "Women tend to seek jobs with regular hours, more comfortable conditions, little travel, and greater personal fulfillment. Often times, women are willing to trade higher pay for jobs with other characteristics that they find attractive." (Carrie Lukas, Forbes.com)

  18. However, some women who are more career-oriented may choose wage factors over non-wage factors. Wage factors are still predominant in selecting a job. After all, generally people work to earn wages or salary. Women suffering from economic hardship in her childhood might feel the urge to fix the family's poor economic status. They will find jobs that pay high, even though it involves long working hours or is risky. Women in the 21th century with no children and are not married are currently shifting to leave the traditional housework and start to be more career-oriented. These women are likely to find jobs with high wage rates to build a foundation for herself or for a future family. Many women are not lucky enough to have a husband to fund them, mainly caused by the high levels of divorce nowadays. They would need to find a job with high wage rates to support their life, especially if she has children.

In conclusion, women generally consider non-wage factors more than wage factors, as women are more emotional than men and would insist that they feel comfortable in her workplace. As a fact, women give birth to children and in nature take care of their children. This would cause them to take frequent leaves. However, as we move further in the 21th century, the attitudes of women towards occupations are changing. Career-oriented women are appearing, and many women decided to marry and have children later to focus on their career. These women may take into account wage factors rather than non-wage factors. Women facing major events in her life, such as poor childhood or divorce, might also need to earn high wages to support their living.

  21. There are some factor why women consider non wages factor important before choosing the occupation. It is to be understand that female worker different from male worker, because women have different need and paradigm than man, for example during pregnancy period which they cannot do their job properly. This kind of condition become most female worker consideration before choosing job . Most female prefer to choose a job that offer off work time during pregnancy, etc. there are some occupations that doesn't allow their worker to get pregnant, for example flight attendant. Most of women also prefer to choose companies who offer non wages factor such as health insurance and family allowance.

The other non wage factor which women consider is period of work per day. Longer period of work per day sometimes makes women not comfortable to do their work or their activity. Women also need time to socialize with other people after they are finished their work at the company. Women stamina are lower than men, so their work period must be shorter than men worker.

Distance between home and occupation place also become an important factor. Because young women still does not have independency to care of themselves. Example, women who live with their parent sometimes face refusal from their parent if they work until night.

Type of Job sometimes is considered for women before they accept or choose occupation. Women different than men because they mostly use their intuition and feeling than men. Men mostly use logic than feeling. Therefore, women's choice of job must suit with the way they are thinking. For example, women have more criteria which is have to be fulfilled by the companies if the companies want to hire them.

As a women, they have other responsibility other than work in office. The responsibility is to take care of the households and children, especially when they already married. So, they need more flexibility of jobs if they also want to work in the office. The flexibility include flexible work period, offwork time, and family support.
Nowadays, especially in this generation, women in wealth country prefer to choose their job and their career than their family, that's why, most women in wealth country do not marry. But, the reverse happen in Indonesia. Especially in eastern culture, where a man control the family, the role of women under influence of men.

The last and the most factor that women consider before choosing the occupation is fringe benefit. Fringe benefit is the advantages that workers can earn beside their main salary or wages. For example, health insurance, transportation, and food cost. The advantages of the fringe benefit is worker or women can earn extra money from their job, but there are also disadvantages. the disadvantages is most companies do not grant fringe benefit unconditionally. For example, in order to get insurance or others fringe benefit, the worker must accept the regulations of the company.

So, the conclusion of why women consider non wages factor before choosing the occupation can be divided into three main factors, the first factor is work period or flexibility of time. The second factor, is culture factor and the last factor is fringe benefit.

  22. Now days many women are deciding to work, due to the economic demands or because of their personal desires. many things that need to be considered by women in choosing the actual work. among others, is home to the office if they are too far away, how the condition of the house if they decide to work. most women prefer non-wage factor when choosing a job, this is due to the nature of women as housewives and not as a breadwinner. however, there are many women who work with looked wage factor this is because they need more money.
When asked how much non wage factors influencing women's decisions in choosing a job, I think the answer is very large. non-wage factors in the distance between home to the workplace, working hours, fringe benefit. for single women, working hours are usually not a problem. and usually they are still willing to work outside the city. because they do not have their own family (not married). while if a married woman is more mature in choosing a job because they have to divide their time between work and family. cannot be denied that a lot of women these days who went on to become a leader or a boss. This is in because they persevere and are willing to sacrifice time and energy. but I think it is good the women are not too focused on career, the should think about spent more time with family.
The reason why they do not do the heavy work is because most women have to take care of and raise their children. not only the children, but they also have to take care of their husbands. and sometimes she does not want to do work that requires them often go out of town and even abroad. not only that, the kind of work they usually take in accordance with the character and desires of their hearts, such as being a gur, being a nurse, become a consultant, ext. jobs they take are also usually are Partime job, such as teaching, baker, sewer. prioritizing where they are they can earn money while caring for their children.
but there are also women who focuses on wages because of factors they would need more money. they are willing to leave family, work harder, work overtime to get a job with a bigger paycheck. may be this is because they are in a bad economy-and indeed they are the type of women who do not like being in the house.
so in conclusion, i think she prefers non wages factor. because they still have another task in a more starting work in the office and looking for money. For the task of earning a living is at hand buukan wnita, anamun in men. sometimes there is also a gender pay gap that makes women sometimes feel uncomfortable about this, even though it was equated between the salaries of women with men. a lot of things that are in the limit on the unconscious woman, especially in Indonesia. for example, women working boelh not be late, or should not be too much work.

  23. Now,in the modern age or civilization, women started to get a proper education and work for a living. If you're a women,it will be hard for you to find a job that you like because women are more picky than men in finding a job. They will prefer a job which they think benefits them more even if that job offers them less wages. We will now discuss to what extent non-wage factors are likely to be more important than wage factors in influencing a woman’s choice of occupation.

Women are very picky about a job when it comes to its environment. They'd rather work in a place with a good environment,co-workers rather than a place with a bad environment but offers more wage. They also hate a job with low status.Every women in this world wants to have a high status in society, they are willing to waste their whole life working in order to get a high status. They also prefer a job with less discrimination,a job where they can have peace and not feel discriminated by society. They don't want their pride to get hurt by discrimination. They'd rather work in a place full of women where there's no discrimination between them rather than working in a place full of men where they'll probably lost their pride as woman.Like I said before, women wants to work in pair with other women,Most of them prefer a job where all their co-workers are of the same gender. As a woman, they also wants more fringe benefits in their job, woman wants to have more advantages at work. They also wanted to feel secure at work. They won't want to feel insecure at work. This is also an important factor that most women consider when they are looking for a job.

But,just like men, most women can't look away from money. They wanted a job that offers a high amount of wage. They want to have a lot of money, they want to spend more.In order to spend more, they need more income from their wage. They will feel extremely happy every month because they receive their salary.Especially if they get a high amount of salary each month, they would feel extremely happy and would spend even every cent of their salary on cosmetics, accessories and other stuffs that they love.Women consume more than men, they feel that they need more salary than man. Also some women in the world work for the family, not only for themselves, the man in the family doesn't want to work. Thus they really need a lot of salary to afford a living and survive. Now,most women realized how harsh this world is,they think that they need more salary to survive, the inflation rate keeps rising and if their value of money decreases, they will consume less goods, they won't want this to happen. Not only that they will consume less, they would have to rely on men again and maybe they would feel incompetent.

The conclusion is that eventhough most women in this world are picky when choosing a job, wage is still the most important factor to them in choosing a job. They prefer a job that offers more wage than a job that offers less wage but more non-wage factors.

  24. Woman want to work because they want more money because they want to buy a good and service especially the women who like to shop. They want to buy a new clothes, a new watch, a new shoes, and a new car but there are some non-wages factor that make some woman want to work. Here are some factors.
Some Women want to work because they were force because they don’t have any kids and they must support for their family income not just because they are poor but her husband don’t have any work. So the woman must find job to buy food, clothes , and other things. There are some factor you know because they want to buy something too. That’s the reason why woman want to work hard to achieve something they want. some woman are having a baby because the woman pregnant in the very young age. They don’t want their parents to know that she is having a baby so she must work to get money to get an abortion for the baby. The other factor is to help their family not just because the income but the woman want to save her family for example her husband is sick and cannot go to work so she must buy her husband some medicine or the other like help their kids go to school so she must pay the school fee.
They want to work because it’s their hobby for example a woman work as a chef because it’s their hobby to cook food for the other. Their house is far from the work place so they try to get a new job that’s near their house so they don’t waste their energy just for work and they can to the another activity. The other is their physical ability. The disable woman cannot get their job because they cannot do something for example woman without hand cannot work to be a secretary but she can work to be the other. The other is job availability. Women want to work if there’s am available job. They want to work in a big company that needs woman. They don’t just want to work for other but it’s their willing to work. The other is the facility of the job. The women want to enjoy the facility of the job because its free no charge. They want to get free food, free clothes and free house so they will not spend her money on the other things. The other is safety of the jobs. The woman don’t want a dangerous job for example if the woman is afraid of height she will not take a job which involve with height for example a window cleaner. They want to work not because the salary but they want to work because of the some factor written above. The conclusion is that woman want to take job because they have to take it.

  25. Wage factors are factors that only include wages, like wages increased or wages decreased. Non wage factors are factors that are not related to wages, such as fringe benefits, security, etc. Women who don’t prioritise their occupation will almost certainly receive fewer wages, but it is not without reason. Most married women tend to focus on their family and that means less work time, so as they are not as effective as men, they are generally paid lower. Generally, non-wage factors are likely to be more important than wage factors in influencing a woman’s choice of occupation.

In favour to the statement above, non wage factors are more likely to be more important. Women generally tend to focus on non wage factors such as fringe benefits, security, safety, work environment, prestige, and level of status. Fringe benefits are benefits that workers receive or enjoy that are not in a form of wage, such as bonuses, free transport, free food and beverages, free or cheap housing, or even free insurance, etc. Generally women have other needs besides money, and those people would see the fringe benefits the occupation will give them. For example, a woman worker is working at a factory for more than 3 years, and maybe she recently had a child, and she must spend much of her income on the child, but she must pay transport, food, etc. She may ask her employer to give her free or cheap transport and food or bonuses, if the employer agrees, she can survive and the employer doesn’t lose a worker, but if the employer disagrees, she might search for a new job, but if she can’t find one, she might live in poverty and the employer loses a worker. Secondly, job security is also a non wage factor. Job security is the chance of a worker to get unemployed. Generally everyone don’t want to waste their time by searching for a new job, and the level of job security of an occupation can tell you what it takes to get unemployed, the greater the job security, the less the chance for the worker to get unemployed. If they get unemployed, they will have to waste their time looking for a job that has no guarantee to be any better than the previous one. The third is level of safety of a job. The safety of a job is how dangerous or risky is the job. Most dangerous jobs like window washing a 100 floor skyscraper, or becoming a fighter pilot, or joining the military are generally did by men. Women generally don’t want to have a job that is life risking or dangerous although those jobs are generally paid highly. Most women want to have a safe job like working in an office, etc but some women want are brave enough to do these jobs, with a high wage. So generally women choose safe jobs. Fourthly, the level of prestige of the job. Almost all women are socially active, and some want to be prestigious. Prestige can sometimes affect the choice of occupation of women because they do not want to be socially awkward or be seen as poor and be pitied, etc. Examples of prestigious jobs include artists, government officials (president), stewardesses, and some highly paid jobs. Fifthly, women may be influenced by the status of the work environment, which refers to the condition of the office, relations with colleagues and boss, and the location of the office. For example, if theres an available job in an office which has a good working condition, there are friendly colleagues and the workplace is in a nearby location, women would be more interested to work there but if the working condition is terrible a lot of mean colleagues, and located in a remote location, not many women would like to work there.

  26. Against the statement above, although generally women can be influenced by non wage factors, there are many women who choose their jobs based on the wage rate. People need money to survive and live and be happy. If a woman chose a prestigious occupation, other people will look up to her, which is what she looking for, but if her wage is not enough to make her happy, there is a possibility of her finding for another job, which offers a bigger wage rate. The bigger the wage rate, the more people are going to be interested in the job. But wage factors can affect non wage factors too, such as when a woman found a job that offers high wage rates, she might show it off and become prestigious and have a high wage rate at the same time.

In conclusion, generally women might be influenced by non wage factors, but there are many who choose wage factors, especially women who don’t want or need other people praising her or admiring her for prestigious jobs, etc.
