  1. There are some people who will be forced to have a very low paid occupation in life. This low paid occupation actually might not be able to provide all the family’s needs and wants. However, these people are still working since they do not have any other choices. These low paid occupations are for examples, parking officers, janitors, maids, drivers and many more. Although there is government interference on labour, the low paid occupations are still around and some of the people cannot get away from it. There are many reasons that causes people to get a low paid occupation.
    Some of them are :
First, they have very low educational background. Usually people who are living in the remote areas receive a very low education. This is because of the low educational facilities that are available in those areas. The other reason that they receive a low education is maybe because of their poor financial situation. So, when they reach working age, they cannot compete with those who receive better education. Especially if they go to bigger citis where the people will certainly have a better educational facility. Because of this reason, those people would certainly get only the left over positions available in working lives which might be the low paid occupations.
Secondly, in some of the countries race does affect their pride as well as their chance of getting jobs. For example early years in western countries there is a different between black people and white people. During those times only blue color works or jobs are available for black people, while better jobs and better positions were only available for white people.
Thirdly, in some countries there is a gender discrimination where only males can get a higher position, while females can only get the left over jobs available. These actually force the females to accept the lower pay occupations because these are the only job available for them.
Fourthly, they have low skill. In some occupations, not onlyeducations is important but skills count as well. This jobs are for example: engineer. For those who do not have enough skill are forced to do the physically harder job that do not need skill such as : low level labour in factories. Where as the better skilled worker can get a better position with higher pay.
Fifthly, in some countries where there is limited jobs available but with big population, people need to fight for jobs. Therefore, people are willing to get paid low as long as they can get a job, as they need to work to ensure that their family can survive. This is why in some countries like china, the labour wage is low because the ratio of the number of people with the number of jobs available is not balance.
The low paid occupations may not be able to fulfill every need of a persons family but at least it can still help to satisfy some of their needs. This is why there are still people who are working for low paid jobs. However, government is still trying to make this people have a better income.

  2. Low-paid wages occupation means job that paid the labor with small amount of payment. And that occupation should be low quality job. For example of low-paid occupations are Cleaning Service, Shop Bartender, Security Guard and Servant in a shop.

Some workers are prepared to work in low-paid occupations because of following reasons :
    1. Because they want to find a new experience

Some workers want to try to work after just graduate from or during university academical year. They usually don’t care about how much payment or wages they will get, but they most likely want have experience to be a worker and get new knowledges and other benefits.

    2. Because they have no specialization at all

Some workers are low educated and unskilled people or workers. They have no any focus in a particular job specialization. So they only could do low quality or easy job or works, for example as cleaning service, just sweep and mop the floor and clean shops equipment and other easy common works. So as long as they get wages or payment, it is okay for them.

    3. Because they are looking for friendly job environment

Some people find jobs that is having high-society factor. For those of the workers, the only important thing is find new friendly friends, for example work in a donation Foundation(support a poor family economical condition, health care, etc.)

    4. Because they have passion and hobby in that job

There are workers that choose a job based on his passion and hobby. Even he/she has passion in a low quality occupation, they will still do for it. For example they are interested to be a shop cleaner, they will still do for that job with full-hearted.

    5. Because they are looking for efficient job for them

There are workers that choose a job based on efficiency, such as efficiency in spending transportation fee and time. For example workers that overview a job that is near their house, so they will spend less in transportation fee. Also with the time flexibility, means that the workers take a look at the work time, they will choose a job based on the time of work they want. For example they wan to work in the afternoon to late evening, so they won’t choose like to be an officer(6 a.m. to 5 p.m), but they will choose the job which the work time is in the afternoon to late evening period even paid less payment than job with work time 6 a.m to 5 p.m.

So finally that is all factors that determines why people are prepared to work at a low-paid wages occupation. Different type of workers, different desire they will choose. So people not only want to work at high-paid wages occupation, but also some of them want to work at low-paid wages occupation.

That's all from my opinion, Thank You

  3. Some people choose a job that is not about the wage factors. They prefer to choose an occupation with low wages but comfortable for them. Another probability of why people choose a low paid occupation is because they haven’t had the experience. There are also people that find satisfaction from their job. The decision of choosing an occupation is not the same, everyone have different decisions. There are some people that enter religious values and life values to choose a job. Some people may be attracted to occupations that pay relatively low wages because they offer interesting careers, generous holiday or are considered to more worthwhile and satisfying such as nursing or charity work. Non wage benefit is also important nowadays. So in my opinion there are reasons why people choose low paid occupations:
    1. The chance to get a scholarship
Some companies offer scholarships to the workers with the condition that the workers must work in that company for some years with a low wage (wages are determined by the company, workers must accept those wages). Usually the fresh graduates want a job like this, because they can get a scholarship that will benefit their future.
    2. Qualification required
Usually companies offer high wages for the jobs that needs high qualification, especially if the worker has high experience in that job. For people that have almost no experience, they can only get a job with average or low wages.
    3. Fringe benefit
Nowadays people don’t look for jobs with high wages; they want to find a job with many fringe benefits like for example house installment, car, holiday trips for the whole family, high bonus, high subsidy in transport and high overtime pay. It doesn't matter if the wages are low because of the fringe benefits, because if it is totaled there is more advantages than jobs with high wages but has no fringe benefit.
    4. Distance of work place
This factor usually effects women in choosing a job, with the consideration of being far away from the family, the safeness of the job also effects them. Usually jobs that have many activities gives higher wages, but some people don’t want to because they are tired or there will be no time for family, so they choose a job that gives average wages but the workplace is close to the family.
    5. No experience and specialization
People like this will always receive low wages because their qualification is only perfect for standard jobs for example junior auditor, secretary, administration, accounting staff, salesman, etc. Those jobs only give standard wages(not high). We know that high wages need specialization and experience so young people will accept the job with low wages get experience, so when hey have enough experience they can find another job with higher wages.
In conclusion some people will want occupation with low wages to get scholarship, fringe benefits, qualification, location of workplace and experience. When they have enough qualification for a better job they will usually find a new job with higher wages or they will get promoted to a higher position that means higher wages. In addition there are some people that don’t care about their income because they love their job (their job is their hobby). Some examples are painter, singer (not famous), and teacher.

  4. In life, there are a lot of people that’s forced to work in very little paid jobs. People, who get low paid jobs, can’t support his/her family’s needs and wants. The problem happens because they no choice unless to work at very low paid jobs. The examples of low paid jobs that I mean are: Janitors, Office Boy, Parking Officers, etc. They have no choice unless to work at very low paid jobs because of several factors that make them work at very low paid jobs. Here are the factors that cause people to get very low wage pay:

1.Education background, some people can’t have enough education because of financial, location, etc. makes them have less education compared to other person. When they go to the city. They’re surely got less education compared to the one who learns from the city. So only the jobs that are less paid available for them.

2.Race discrimination, most firms also determine wages according to race and skin color. Most firms still determine wages form skin color. So the person who’s from remote areas will get very little paid jobs. Before, only blue jobs are done by black people. Whereas the more paid jobs are.done by white people in the western.

3.Gender Discrimination, most firms also determine wages of a person by its gender. Some firms thought that men were more productive than women so usually they pay women for less paid jobs whereas men were hired for high paid jobs.

4.Skills and Abilities, firms will look for good skills and abilities to do the job. It’ll increase the productivity of the workers. Some jobs for example: Accountant. People without the ability to be an accountant will not get the wage of an accountant.

5.In some countries, due to the big population in the big city, people will fight for jobs. As long as they got a job, they didn’t care if they’ll get a big or small paid job. So that they can ensure the survival of the family.

6.Some people will work less paid because they don’t see the amount of wages. He/she sees the perks of the firms. Some people will choose the firm with more perks than more wages. Example of perks: Company car, work insurance, cheap travel price, etc.

7.People also decide by the location of the job. People choose depends on the location because: Cost of going to and fro the company and home. Cost of food in that location, cost of living in the company, etc. They’re ready to get paid low as long as the living cost isn’t expensive on that location.

8.People also want to do the job because they have passion in that job. They do what they like because they like what they do. So even though the amount of wage is low, he will still do the job.
Some people get little paid jobs that can’t support the family. But government is still trying to solve it.

  5. Several people are forced to work with low wage occupation because of their in capabilities to work better job or even there work that is suitable for them. A person who are seeking employment, therefore accept a lower wage if a job offers attractive non-wage benefits. In other cases, level of education that is low, made people forced to do many jobs (example: in the morning, they sell newspapers, in the afternoon, they became a driver). The qualification of low paid wages is much more easier to be fulfilled. They do not need high education, experience, responsibility, ability to make choices and etc.

In my opinion, there are some reasons, why some people are prepared to work in low-paid occupations:
    - Satisfaction of doing the job, there are some people feel satisfied with their jobs, they will do it earnestly. Usually these type of person wouldn’t care how much they would get, their focus is on to create a product or service that they adore and useful for people. Lets take an example of a painter, painter made paintings using their mood (if the painter is not in a good mood, they will paint an abstract painting to show their feelings). They will not think about how much the painting will cost, what they feel important is that their feelings are already given through that painting.
    - Quality of working environment, sometimes a high paid job, force worker to travel and meet clients, these activity makes worker tiered and do not have quality time with their family. Because of this, there are people that chooses more to get low wages but having a good quality of working environment such as, having a good competition, can have a quality time with their family, and being together with their work mates.
    - Experience, people with no experience will have lower wages with the same position. Some fresh graduate tend to choose jobs with low wages but having a great experience. So, after working in that corporation, and they are looking for a new job, the experience the they get will help them to get a greater wages or to get a better facility. But not all people think that way, there are thoughts that they only need experience and knowledge so one day, they can open their own firm using the experience they already get. For example, a worker in dunkin donut work for 2 years with a low wage, but the worker learn how to make donut in dunkin donut, so after working there, he can make his own bakery using the knowledge that he already get when working in dunkin donut. So, the taste of his donut is the same with dunkin donuts’ donut.
    - Didn’t qualify the qualification required, jobs with high wage need qualification, example: having minimum GPA of 3,00, having 5 year experience, having education on foreign language, and willing to work everywhere. For workers that did not qualify, finally gets a job with a standard wage.

So in conclusion, the reason people are willingly to work with low wages is because of no experience, didn’t qualify the qualification needed, low of level education, hobbies, and quality of working environment. There are people also forced to get low paid occupation, but there are also people choose to get low paid occupation.

  6. People work in order to get wages/salaries which mostly come in a form of money. They need money to support their life or maybe even family. Some people, even if they’re a skilled workers, don’t care about the amount of wages they get, if they love the job they’re doing, they’ll do it. And only if the wages is on the minimum rate of the wages and enough to support their life. But most people prefer to work on how much wages they earn rather than thinking they like their jobs or no. their aim is to get the wage as high as possible. There’re also people(unskilled) that will do any kind of jobs, not the legal one to get money in order to survive. Examples are: garbage collectors, cow-workers, etch. They will get some money, though their work is hard but they will receive only in a little amount, as long as they can buy shelter(sometimes they build them, beside the big drains), food(though they don’t get enough nutrients), clothes.
There are many unskilled workers, they can choose one of these 3 choices: 1. Try to find a job, though the payment is small but its legal. 2. Become a bad guy, ex: robbers, thieves, killer, etch. 3. Do nothing and ask money from people, beggar is their profession. The other reason is probably its hard to find another job for some unskilled workers and they’re afraid if they quit their original job to find a new one, and if they don’t find one, the people will be income less. Don’t have money to support his or her life. Now days, its really hard for the unskilled workers to find a good job with a not-so-low payment but they cant hope much for getting those job, there are barely opening for a job for them. Since the population in the earth now is around 7,174,287,256. And there’s not as many as the people who need it, the demand has surpass the supply. The employers, of course want to hire someone with high education and well trained, but they want and need to be paid by a high wage. No trained worker agree to be paid by small wage. They demand for higher wage more and if the employer don’t want to pay them with the wage they want, they can just find another employer that want to pay them with high wages. For the workers that do work like cleaning the garbage and stuffs, they work in a bad environment, dirty and of course germs and bacteria everywhere, but some mean the employers don’t give them any health care or money for them to go to the hospital in case they’re sick. Since the environment they’re working is not good, they have to be given some health care and medical check up per month. But some employers think “they’re just some garbage-collector, unskilled, so why give them health care? Its none of our business, we have pay them”, such a mean employers. They keep most of the profit for them self and mind if they spend a little for their employees. But some of them, are born to be a high-position people, though they’re not so talented. Example: a prince, he has to be smart, talented, educated and trained even if he doesn’t want to. Because in the future he will be a king and led a country, even though there’re many more talented people in his country, which he probably will recued. But some people, need to work hard to be successful. And they must find a firm or start to a new business on their own, but they have no experience, that’s why most of the freshman decide to work for firms and find experience. Freshman don’t mind to be paid in low wages because they and the employers know that they’re not experience, and when they have mastered the job, they will be promoted to the higher position with higher responsibility, work and yes, salary.
So, the conclusion is why most people(freshman) don’t mind if they’re paid with low wages is because they have no experience though they’re highly educated even more than the other high positioned people in the firm. But for the experienced people, they demand to be paid more than the freshman. And the unskilled people have no choice but to be paid with low wage

  7. There are many reasons why people are prepared to work in low-paid occupations. But usually they are either forced to work in this situation because of poverty or low education or maybe because money isn’t their main factor when they chose their job. Low paid jobs vary from being a maid, to a laborer and garbage collector too. Also other reasons that they are forced into these types of occupations are because they have less skill or experience in their time being. Some also pays more attention to the fringe benefits that the occupation provides. They might even put the working environment into consideration. Those are just brief reasons why people are prepared to do low paid occupations, hence I’ll explain more about them in the next few paragraphs.

Firstly, I believe that the reason most people are prepared for a low paid occupation is because of their passion to do their job. In other words I think that the job satisfaction is the most important factor hence I think that even if the job is low paid, that person will still favor that job than other occupations that receives a higher pay. Examples of occupations that are based on the job satisfaction are painters, chief funster, outback adventurer, park ranger, wildlife caretaker, lifestyle photographer, taste master, etc.

Other factors include poverty. People who live in poverty usually have low education, resulting in occupations with low wage. Because of low education they might also have less or no experience at all. Commonly it’s because they have no skill or they are unskilled because they didn’t have the chance to study when they were little. Therefore they now have no choice but to do the jobs that they are capable of doing and most of them are jobs that only gives low wages.

Discrimination is the prejudicial and/or distinguishing treatment of an individual based on their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or category, "in a way that is worse than the way people are usually treated." This is also the reason why some people are forced into occupations that has low paid wages. In some countries they still have casts and they differentiate people by their skin color, disability, gender, nationality, etc. As a result, the ones being discriminated are the ones who have to suffer the pain on having to work with low paid wages.

Another reason is that maybe the person wants to continue their family’s business. Even if that business didn’t make that much money, most people will still continue the family business to help keep the good name of their family in respect to his parents.

Aside from that, some people accept the fact that they have low paid occupations because they merely want to gain experience from this job. Thus after this job they can go out to find a better job with more experience so they know what to do and they can earn more money than before. So this job is actually just a temporary job for this person.

Other factors include the fact that the person is just working part-time. Because he or she is a student and they only want to receive extra money, so they work in a low paid job. Or maybe this person already have a job but he just wants more income so he works as a part time worker to earn a little bit of extra money.

Besides that, one might be living in a developed and over populated country hence there aren’t many job fields available in that area. Because of that they don’t really have a choice but to do their job even if they only give a low wage.

In conclusion, I think that the main reason people are ready to work in low paid occupations is because they love their job. Even though there are other reasons that they have a job with low wage, to me the one that is the major reason is job satisfaction. Most people would do their job because they love it even if it’s low paid. Others are either forced or for temporary use only. So, like I said, I think that the primary reason would be job satisfaction.

  8. People have occupation in order to earn wages that is money to spend it to fulfill their need and want .but why some people wanted to earn little payments even tough they are paid little or less . Some people wanted to work even tough the payments are little because of many factors influencing it such as

Firstly is because the competitors because usually if that unskilled people doesn't want to work since the wages are to low the boss can ask them just to quit since there are still a lot of people who can replace him so definitely he will lower his work price.

Second is usually about voluntary works since people do it for charity so that they have agree to work in a low or even no wages such as Messi and Neymar they play football last time for funding so they do charity works with little payment or even no payment.

Third is because they are unskilled so they know they have no specialization on the business so they are forced to get pay little for the work they done so usually unskilled people opens their own business if they have enough money.

Fourth is about The high competition to get a position in a company sometimes make people that lost the competition to decrease their standard and accept low wages occupation. They intend to gain experience firstly in the low wages occupation and make it as a stepping stone to find better occupation in the future so when they apply for better job in the future the already gained experience as a plus point. Companies nowadays prefer to hire experience worker than people wihout job experience.

Fifth is about racism if the company leader is racist he will discriminate the workers that have different skin color or religion so these workers that have religion, gender or skin color with the company leader will earn less than than workers that have the same religion, gender and skin color than the company leader.

Fourth is about agreement because some company train workers since their young age so they pay for the workers training but they will get less money because of the agreement with the company and because the company have train him so he have a specialization that can cause his price to be higher the examples is such as a kid that get scholarship such as if we get a scholarship to singapore u must be singapore citizen and work there.

Fifth is the facility of the work since if the work place give us facility such as car that transport workers to work place , air conditioner, free foods for workers, elevator workers are willing to be paid less because they can have a pleasure because it will be tiring and expensive to pay to go to the working place to pay the foods and will be uncomfortable without air conditioner or elevator and will enjoy the business.

Sixth is because they enjoy the business like its their hobby so they will enjoy the business and don't get bored doing the business easily. People who live this way see the passion of work as the reason and purpose of their life , and not money. They will only do work for a job they like and enjoy the most they are paid in low wages

So in my conclusion workers are willing to be paid more because of the factor i mentions above.

  9. People work to gain money. Money is needed to fulfill our needs and wants. It is needed for food supply, to pay taxes, to buy better clothes and have a suitable place to live. But people don’t get money according to the amount they expect. They receive wages according to the level of difficulty of the job they can do. For example, a teacher. Being a teacher is a hard job. They need talent to teach well, being understood well by the children and they need knowledge in order to teach well. Being a teacher is needed to be good in a specific subject and really understands well that subject. People who have occupations such as teachers are receiving high wages. While others, like janitors and maids. Their job is to clean the house or building. Well, it’s a simple thing to do, almost everyone can do it but not everyone wants to do it, that is why janitors and maids are hired. Why are there janitors and maids? If they know they will receive low wages, why do they pick this occupation? It’s because they have no choice. They have low educations. If they have high educations, they wouldn't be maids and janitors like what they are now, they could be an accountant, doctors or even economists. Of course no one wants to receive low wages, they always expect for higher wages but what they receive is different from what they want. So, what people usually do to handle this problem is by promotion. They will promote themselves and search for a demand that needs them and which offer bigger wages. The other way is by having 2 occupations in 2 different times. For example, this a guy works in a cafe at the morning till the evening. At night, he works in a bar. Some people are enough educated but they are lazy. Lazy of doing difficult jobs to receive high wages. This is the reason why some people are prepared in low paid occupation. Because they are lazy. And some just need to accept the situation because they can’t find a better job due to the amount of education they received. But somehow, the environment where they live also do affect the amount of wages they will received. Like for example, if the environment where they live in are underpopulated area, it’ll be hard to find jobs and if they find one, the wages aren't that satisfying. They will only be offered low wages rate. Aside from that, some environment do things unfairly. They discriminate skin colors, religions, genders, ages, and even race. Usually, in Arab, it’ll be hard for us to find jobs there. Due to the discrimination of religions. They will pay us with low wage rate. They won’t care even if we work hard. And in other environments, they discriminate the black people. Black people are also receiving less wages compared to white people whenever maybe they are having the same job and both work so diligently. That is why people need to be prepared in low paid occupation.

  10. Low paid occupations are occupations in which it has less demand than supply as the people who would apply for the job are usually less educated people or less skilled people which makes them less valuable, which in terms make them more suited to apply for the low paid occupations. People are prepared to work in low paid occupations because:
They would like to try something new:
People who still are not sure of their specialization are more likely to try to apply for different jobs even this means working in a low paid occupation, this is necessary and has happened to many people before. This usually happens to the unskilled workers .But compared to the total population that has education and has made a choice on what they wanted to do it is rare. For example a person who hasn’t had enough education wants to have a job, but he cannot have an extremely high paying job due to the fact that high paying jobs have a tendency to require extreme specialization, trying something new would not just give his or her wages or salary but experience and they could just find out what are their specialization and then they can improve it.
They like to do the low paid occupation because it is their specialization:
Some people’s specializations are only useful or available as a low pay occupation, and they want to do that job, because it is their preference. And if they preferred it would be better than working at a job than they do not specialize at because it would reduce productivity of working .That would be one of the reasons why they would be prepared to work at a low paid occupation.
Some people though are not prepared yet they need to work in a low paying occupation. Why? Because it’s better than having no occupation and not being able to support themselves and their family members that cannot work.
They cannot find a better paying occupation
Some people are stuck in situations that in which they are forced to be prepared to work at a low paying occupation, an example of these types of situations is that when a person of low leveled education needs to support his or her family meaning that he or she must be prepared to support his or her family meaning he or she must be prepared to work in low paid occupations, in order to help his or her family. There are many people stuck in these situations thus many people are forced to take and prepare a low paying job.
    Sudden needs of working.
Sometimes people came unprepared for a low paying job because they are in a situation in which only by working at a low paying job. For example someone who isn’t working suddenly receives an expense that he or she could not pay without working also he cannot apply for a high paying high specialization job.
In conclusion, when people are prepared for a low paying job they are willingly working at that low paying job. And that is the only opinion related reason why a person wants to have a low paying job. They are not prepared when they are unwillingly working for that low paying job.

  11. People are sometimes prepared to have a job that are paid with low wages . But sometimes they are also not prepared to do that kind of job . People are choosing the low paid job maybe because of that job have a really good facilities , fringe benefit or maybe that work are very suitable for them . Sometimes maybe they are forced to do that . They maybe know that their education and skills are not really good . So they must prepared to do that job .

So , People are choosing to have the low paid job . This is happen because :
    1. Some firms provide them with a really good facilities and fringe benefit than rival firms , such as longer holiday , free medical care , and enhanced pension contribution .
    2. This job maybe are really suitable for them and also attractive . Like example nursing . This job are paid with a low wages . But many people keep wanting this job .
    3. The person maybe realize that they don’t have a really great skills and education . So they are prepare to having a job that are paid with a low wages. It means that they don’t have another choice
    4. The person maybe good at that job . Instead of choosing another job that are difficult for them , they will choose this job . If they choose the difficult job , the may not do all their task . And by the time , that person may be fired by the boss . and they will become jobless and hard to find the new job because now , there are a lot of people that want to find a job ( factor substitutability ).
People are not always prepared to have the low paid job . Sometimes , First ,they maybe fired from their job and they become jobless .If they want to find a new job that have a high wages , it will be very hard because now there are a lot of factors substitutability . So they don’t have any choice again instead of choosing this low paid job .If they don’t choose this , they wont have any money to fulfill their needs and wants .This thing can force them to do the low paid job . Second ,maybe a company just get bankrupt , and the owner don’t have any job again . They maybe can start to make a new company but the problem is many owner don’t have enough money to start a new company , so they will not have any more choice again , they must work again with a job that don’t have a high wages . Third , they maybe just finished their university . They want to have a high paid job . But the problem is , many company don’t want to hire them , because they don’t have any experience .Instead of choosing them , company usually will choose the one who have a great experience So , they don’t have any choice again instead of working with a low paid wages .
So , not all people are prepared to have a high paid job . There are also people who are not prepared to have a high job . And there are a lot of factor that affecting all of that .

  12. An occupation is when you do work in exchange for money. Money is an important part in our life as it helps us to buy things essential for daily life, and also our wants.

Different occupation offers different amount of wages, considering the difficulty of the job, the level of education needed to do the job and other factors, in some instances, people are forced to work in low-paying occupations because:

Lack of education, a person who lives in a bad neighbourhood usually does not receive any education or limited education, meaning that they are unskilled and not trained, would never be hired for high risk works but rather be hired for labour works which pays little wages.

Amount of job provided, if a person is born in an overpopulated country, finding a job would be a difficult.
Job limitation, a person might not be able to find another job because the job they are specialized in are all taken.

Working for low-paying jobs can sometimes be a burden because, as I have stated before, money is important but many would choose it over for happiness, even though there will be a lot of obstacle.

Job satisfaction is also important, when a person is happy with their job, they will not feel like they are forced everyday to do the same thing over and over again, they would gladly do their work, so even though they are working in a low-paying job, they will still go on.

Working environment, a person would be happier to work in a clean and healthy environment compared to working in a dirty smelly environment, as it would be better to look at and they are more like to stay longer.

Passion/hobby, a person could do jobs they like, with low wages but still like it because that's their passion, for example street dancing, if a person couldn't find a place to dance in but performing others is his/her passion, they can just do it on the streets.

Wags given varies, not only the types of work differs but also the time. Wages can be given fix, so even though they work late at night, their salary will still be the same. Wages can be also given decided by it's performance. Also piece rate, the salary is given on how much did it produce, last but not least time rate, the wages given depends on how long does the worker works.

Against all factors stated above, behavior and attitude is another factor to be considered. Laziness is in all of us, it's just up to them on whether they want to work against it or not. A person may just be too lazy to find higher-paying jobs that they are capable to work in and decided to settle for low-paying just because they are just too lazy.

So, in conclusion and to my opinion, a person have be prepared to work in low-paying job is because life isn't always like what you wanted, situation in life varies and it also depends on how the person is, what decision will he/she make

  13. Sometimes they are not prepared to do that job . They are not specialized at that kind of job. Also because of the level of education . They feel that they are better to be an unskilled worker better that becoming a skilled workers .

These are the main factors :
    1. Race discrimination , most firms also determine wages by skin colour. So that the black people who work in that place will get little paid jobs. That's why white people always earn more money than black people is because of racist firms that always determine wages by skin colour. Even though the black people always work more harder than white people, they still got lower wages.
    2. Gender/Sex Discrimination , most firms always determine wages of a person by their gender. They thought that men were more productive than women so usually women always earn less money than men .
    3. Skills and Abilities , the firms will look of their skills and abilities of the person to do the job. So , the people with low abilities / skills will earn less money than skilled workers . Usually they called them an unskilled workers / non-skilled workers
    4. Education background , some people can't have enough education because of financial makes them have less education compare to the other person.
    5. Experience , if the person has an experience in former work place , they will have a higher wages than the person who just begin to work in that places . This makes the people who have less experience earn less wages.
    6. Difficulty of job , some people have a problem in their job . The usual things that happen is because of the difficulty of job. The people that have a difficulty in work will have a lower wage / income.

  14. *Additional Information :

Why they have a lower wages/income??? This is because of their job also.
    The 8 lowest-paying job in America :
1.Food preparation and serving workers, including fast food
Alas, this job category has the not-so-great distinction of being the lowest-wage gig in the country, bringing in a measly $8.71 an hour, or $18,000 annually. Most of these jobs require minimal education and many are part time.
Despite the small paycheck, long hours, and hard work, lots of people hold these jobs. The occupation is now the fourth largest in the country with 2.7 million workers.
This kind of work, which the BLS projects will increase by 10 percent in the next decade, is often seen as a dead-end job. However, if you have plans of one day going into hospitality management, it’s a good idea to spend some time in the trenches, advised Quintessential Careers’ Hansen. But not too long, he added, or you’ll risk being seen as a grunt worker in the eyes of management.

    2. Dishwashers
There are roughly half a million dishwashers in the United States, and they earn about $8.81 an hour.
The state with the most dishwashers is Florida, with 42,000. That state also pays among the lowest hourly wage for the job, $8.62, while Nevada pays the highest at $11.29 an hour.
Training is minimal to nil, but dishwashing jobs are often seen as a stepping stone to jobs as servers in restaurants or other food-service establishments.
When he was 12, Michael Dell — who went on to found Dell Computer — got a job as a dishwasher in a Chinese restaurant and quickly was promoted to maitre d’.

    3. Cashiers
Cashiers can be found everywhere from fast-food shops to clothing stores.
The job is No. 2 on the BLS’s list of biggest occupations with a workforce of about 3.3 million, behind only retail sales people with 4.2 million.
But unfortunately, the pay is crummy. Cashiers make $9.15 an hour, or $19,000 annually; about half of those who work cash registers are part timers.
Even though most cashiers are trained on the job, they typically need some understanding of math, and many employers prefer applicants with high school diplomas, according to the BLS. Background checks are often required for these positions because workers handle money.
The profession has a high turnover rate, and the government expects the outlook for this job category to be good, although it’s expected to grow at only 4 percent in the next decade.

    4. Hosts and hostesses
You may never think to tip your host or hostess when you go out to eat. Well, maybe you should think again.
These jobs bring in $9.23 an hour, compared to $9.80 an hour for waiters and waitresses.
Maybe they don’t do the kind of heavy lifting the wait staff does, but it’s not only about greeting you when you get to the restaurant or lounge door. They also take reservations, direct you to the bathroom, and sometimes they act as cashiers. And they have to do all this, typically, wearing a nice outfit — or at least as nice as they can afford on a salary of $19,000 a year. Forget the Armani.

    5. Amusement park attendants
Florida and California, lands of amusement wonder, top the list of the most people employed in this profession, with 30,410 and 40,640 workers respectively.
In California, workers in this category make $9.57 an hour; but in Florida, land of Disney World, the wage is $8.90 an hour. Alas, Mickey Mouse isn’t spreading the joy to workers’ pockets. Wages there for these jobs are below the national mean hourly wage of $9.35 an hour.
These employees, who typically get on-the-job training and are expected to have good customer service skills, do everything from collecting tickets when you wait in line to ride the latest roller coaster to removing unruly patrons who have had too much cotton candy.

  15. 6. Movie theater ushers, ticket takers
If you’re a movie buff, you’re in luck. The BLS expects jobs for ushers and ticket takers to jump nearly 12 percent in the next 10 years.
Watching all the movies you want is a great benefit, especially given the wages you’ll be bringing home — $9.43 an hour.
But getting a job as an usher at your local theater doesn’t mean you’ll end up in Hollywood. The job is listed under the BLS’ “movie picture and video industries,” but even the government doesn’t give it much credibility.
From the Labor Department website: “Most jobs are entry-level positions that require little training and are not covered in detail in this statement.”

    7. Farm workers
Often cited as the job Americans don’t want, farm workers make $9.51 an hour, and most of the work is seasonal, strenuous and dangerous. About seven in 10 agricultural workers are born outside of the United States.
The bulk of these jobs, nearly 150,000 out of the total 233,000 jobs, are in California, and workers learn quickly while in the fields.
As for the outlook for this category, the BLS said, “Job opportunities for agricultural worker occupations should be abundant because large numbers of workers leave these jobs due to their low wages and physical demands.”

    8. Personal and home care aides
The job opportunities in this profession are expected to skyrocket by nearly 50 percent in the next 10 years, above and beyond the 630,000 people doing the work right now. The government expects the huge jump because of the graying of the population and the care they’ll need to deal with escalating health problems they’ll face. As a result, they’ll need help if they’re going to remain at home.
The work can be grueling and unpleasant, according to the BLS, including tasks “such as emptying bedpans and changing soiled bed linens. The patients they care for may be disoriented, irritable, or uncooperative. Although their work can be emotionally demanding, many aides gain satisfaction from assisting those in need.”
If only these physically demanding jobs paid a bit better. At $9.75 an hour, workers doing this job — which has a high rate of work-related illnesses and injuries — won’t be able to put much money away to take care of themselves in their golden years.

  16. Occupation is a work done by a person to get money to fulfill our needs and wants. Low paid occupation is an occupation that is paid with a low level of wages and a low status of the work.

An important factor influencing high low level of wages is:
    a. Employment Offers and Requests
Although the laws of economics can’t be fixed absolute in workforce issues, but this can’t be denied that the law of supply and demand remain influence. For jobs that require skills and a high number of their employees, the wages tend to be high, while for the post that had bid
    abundant, wages tend to decline.
    b. Labor Organizations
Presence or absence of strong or weak labor organizations that organization will affect the formation of the wage rate. The existence of trade unions, meaning employees are also strong position also will increase the level of wages.
    c. Ability to Pay
Although the demands of the union wage high as they wish, but for companies it will be considered through the realization and the company's ability to pay, as wages is one component of production costs for the company. Higher wages will lead to higher costs production until the resulting profit will be reduced. If the increase in production costs to result in company can be loss, then obviously the company will not be able to meet facility employees.
    d. Productivity
Actually wages is a reward for achievement employees. The higher the greater achievements of employees wage he would receive. Which achievement like this is usually
    referred as productivity?
    e. Maintenance
Another factor to consider as well is the cost life. As we know that in big cities have the high cost of living, will result in the high wage rate. However it seems the cost of living is
acceptance limit wages of the employees.
    f. Government
Government with its regulations also affects the level of wages. Regulations on wages are the limit of the minimum level of wages paid. There are several important factors in establish fair wages, namely:
    1. education
Salary shall be proportionate to the level of education employees, for example, the salary of a graduate to be distinguished with not a graduate.
    2. Experience
Salary given to people who already have high work experience must be distinguished from those who inexperienced.
    3. Dependent
Salary is considered fair if the salary for the have dependents who were distinguished by dependents who have small families.
    4. The company's ability
The Company’s ability to pay its employees well should be taken into account. If the company gets the advantage employees should also be able to enjoy through increased wages, welfare, and others.
    5. Labor conditions
Field work that requires precision and expertise special salary rate must be differentiated with workers plain and simple chores.

  17. I agree with a low level of wages because:
    1. Pressing Production Costs
by curbing the cost of production, then the selling price of goods will become cheaper so that it can compete with the competitors in the market.
    2. Improve Company Earnings
With the reduction in cost of goods sold, the profits received more because the selling price is the same.
    3. Because it has a limited skill
Limited skills make it difficult to get a higher salary
    4. He is less loyal to the company
Lack of loyalty to the company, resulting in the employee's hard to promote an increase in salary
    5. Monotonous jobs
the monotony of the job so that the employee is difficult to show the remarkable performance gain promotion to rise.

I disagree of a low level of production because:
    1. High living costs
Low salaries are not enough to make ends meet
    2. Cannot meet the needs of working life can affect concentration
He kept thinking about how he had to make ends meet
    3. Could degrade the quality of production
without giving reasonable salary, it can reduce employee productivity so that employees are not working optimally so passionate or inhibit affect the company's goal to produce a good product.
So, we still can pay a low level of wages if we are not loss the worker and not defeat the government rules because with pay a low level of wages, will decrease the cost of production and increase company’s profit.

  18. Sometimes people are necessary to do the job even if it is paid in low wages. Why? Because they need to fulfill their needs example like food to eat, clothes to use, and house to live. For example for the unskilled workers they have no choice to choose what they want to work, cause it will take a very long time for them to be chosen at a company or business, because they were unskilled so company or business will think twice to take them to work easily. Office boy, security, fruit picker, house keeper, driver, etc are the example of the unskilled workers that are forced to do that job to earn money for their needs. Another reason is because discrimination, some of the countries think that white people is better than black people, so that the black people is always get a low wages than the white people that always get high wages. The reason they are prepared for low wages is they workers is not yet trained to do any skilled job so they thus get low wages. Lack of information is also one of the reasons some people are prepared to work in low wage, why? Because they do not have enough information to do their job, example if they are a teacher, teacher is skilled, but if they do not have information to teach their students, so they will be fired from the school and were not classified as a teacher. There are also some important reason, it was the factor of age, age will affect so much to a wages, example company or business paid a high wages to a worker that want to do a risky job, but if the worker is in the old age so they can’t do it, company or business will find the worker for the risky job at the age that they have much strength.

Sometimes people are not always prepared for having the low wages, it is maybe of by perforce so want or don’t want that people must to work to fulfilled their needs and wants. There are also people that are not always prepared having the low wages, maybe example because of their ages, example a man his ages is 35 he was a miners (sure that miners are always paid in high wages) but when his ages is already 60 definitely the company or business will not give him a high wages again or maybe at the ages of 60 he become a office boy or maybe he just stay at home and don’t earn money again. There is another reason is it when a skilled worker is fired form a company/ business because they accidently do or make something wrong that affect the business, so the people will become a bad image at another company or business eye. Of course a business will not easily worked a people, especially when they are worked to handle the whole company. So the conclusion of that all is many people are prepared to have a low wages because of they have to do it to fulfilled their needs and wants.
